“Lionsgate is looking at converting several movies into TV series — including, I’m told, the 2010 action film about a team of mercenaries,” reports Deadline Hollywood executive editor David Lieberman.
Lionsgate’s “Transporter” franchise has already been converted into a series airing on Cinemax later this year.
I don’t know who survives “Expendables 2,” but I suspect Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris and maybe even Jean-Claude Van Damme might be up for such a series. (Maybe Charisma Carpenter too, if ABC Family’s “The Lying Game” doesn’t get a third season?)
