The Kidd here...
It's easy to get excited about anything THE DARK KNIGHT RISES that pops up these days, as it just reminds us that we're one day closer to July 20. However, this latest poster released by Warner Bros. on THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Facebook Page leaves a bit to be desired... mostly because we've seen this imagery before. It's the exact Batman symbol in the crumbling skyline that the first teaser poster showed, only this time, it's on fire... and it has Batman standing at the bottom of it.
This is far less impactful than it was the first time around, and definitely not as iconic as Bane walking away from the broken Batman cowl. For the first time, this feels like a creative misfire for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
