Schwarzenegger Counts To TEN!

Nordling here.

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't wasting any time since his return to acting - THE LAST STAND opens in January, he's currently filming THE TOMB with Sylvester Stallone, and he'll be featured in EXPENDABLES 2 this summer.  I'm all for it, personally - looking at the characters he's playing there seems to be a bit more moral ambiguity to the roles he's choosing and TEN, his next project announced today, continues on that mode.

TEN, directed by David Ayer (TRAINING DAY, HARSH TIMES), focuses on a DEA task force who decides to cross the line and steal millions in drug money.  But someone finds out and decides to hunt each of them down.  I'd imagine Arnold's character is the head of the task force, and the idea of him playing basically a thief sounds fascinating considering the characters he's played through the years.  David Ayer knows all about the seedy underbelly of law enforcement based on his work so far, so this seems like a natural fit for him.

I'm eager to see what Arnold will be like after those years of being away from filmmaking, and I hope that he finds that Eastwood niche in his performances now that he's a bit older.  Looking forward to it.
