Good show, glad it got picked up once again

Those shows, on the other hand, can go suck a bag of rancid mule dicks.

VD is the worst show I watch. Can't explain why, can't defend myself.

It's a guilty pleasure. Supernatural should have been cancelled so Jensen can move on to a movie career. He would be so good on the big screen.
-
I know he was involved with the Under the Red Hood animated DC movie, but I have thought for a long time that he would make an excellent Bruce Wayne in the Batman reboot we'll be getting in 3 years.
-
and PLEASE let's make this Supernatural's last season. Make that shit count for something, finally.

Jenson is very good in Supernatural, but for some reason is awful in feature films, he loses all that charisma

And also, last two seasons have been pretty lame. I miss the angels, ghosts and demons. Went from epic in S5 to poop

Fuck yeah!

One of the best DC Animated films
-
A close second just behind the fantastic New Frontier adaptation. I liked how the one store clerk was wearing Under the Red Hood t-shirt back near the beginning of the season on Supernatural.
-
I never noticed that, I'll have to go back and check it out. I'll probably just watch the entire season over from start to finish once its done. There is always a lot of stuff I miss on single viewings week to week, or whenever I get a chance to watch the DVR.
-
Maybe this is not one of its best seasons, but it's still better than most of the other shows out there. When it hits, like the episodes around SPOILER... Bobby's death, it reminds us of why it's a great series.

Gamble can leave, along with her "dick" jokes. Save those for her erotic stories. -Namaste-

kids on 90210 must work for garbage...also cw ratings a crap, in actual viewer number totals plus dvr the ratings are very decieving...

nikita and secret circle have just as much or more sometimes as 90210, ringer, hart of dixie and gossip girl, i guess its just cause all the young girls watch those shows

Jensen Ackles should be Steve Rogers in a Six Million Dollar Man reboot!
by CeejayNightwing
The guy has the Lee Majors coolness to pull it off!

You mean Steve Austin.

A lot of people who love the show will admit that the last 2 years of Supernatural
by V'Shael
have been shit. But the change of show runner should help things. At the risk of sounding sexist, this show should never have been run by a fan-girl.
-
But I want to see the writers of that show move towards a definite end-game. It's a war. People die. Stop revealing 10 episodes after someone dies that they faked their own death. Make real progress, not just the illusion of progress, or you will piss off your diminishing fan base.

I am overjoyed that Supernatural has deservedly been given another season! Woot!
by I_Love_LanaLang
It has had its ups and downs to be sure, but it's far and away the best show on Friday night. Nothing comes close to it - not even Fringe. Last week's episode was fantastic. Felicia Day was awesome in her role. Besides, what other show has two studly hunks helming it like Jensen and Jared? Answer: No other show has anything that can match the Winchester brothers! As a woman, I can honestly say that Supernatural is must-see-tv! Yum!!
-
it could have gone the other direction, at the beginning of the season castiel was god. look, i really enjoy supernatural, i used the castiel username after being banned twice over supernatural but this season has dragged. the team is more then just sam and dean, cutting bobby and castiel has hurt. remember in the old days there'd be a smoking hot demon willing to by your soul at the crossroads? what happened to those fucking stories? I'm hoping next season isn't on life support. new showrunners, look at the best episodes and get back on form, at the moment this is just mediocre
-
Which was a meandering mess. This season of Supernatural has a lot of drive to it, and a lot of tragedy that's worked. However, Eric Kripke wanted the show to end on season five. That was the end of the story he intended to tell, and it really shows. I think perhaps next year should be the last. Eight years is a long time for any show. Then again, I'm still enjoying the ride. It lost its edge for me. So I'd be down if they decide to keep truckin', at least based on what we've got so far.

I like Nikita, please keep it going. Supernatural, I also like.. But it needs an end. It's done a good job, 8 seasons is enough

i_love_lanalang - maybe now you can stop insulting other people's taste in TV, now that we know you watch Supernatural as a sexual turn on more than for its artistic merits-- peace, love and understanding, and can your altrer ego, it just makes you seem s

I love Supernatural. I do. I think Ackles is great as Dean Winchester. But...
by ShadowVoyd
he's playing an emotionally retarded hormonal snarky douchebag with a heart of gold. That.... well... is not even a little bit of a stretch. When it turned out the jailbait chasing "dick coach" from Smallville was going to co-headline Supernatural, it seemed like typical WB Network telegenic beau hunk nepotism. It seemed fitting they cast two blocks of wood who might have to do away vampires.
Right around when the show began building it's internal mythology, it finally got it's tone down, complete with a much needed sense of humor. And then both Ackles and Padalecki hit their character strides. It turned out there was subtlety and the capacity to emote. Unfortunately, they've been doing that almost exclusively in the mold of Sam and Dean. When the show does finally end (long and away may that day be should knock the ball out of the park come the end of this season and all of next), it's gonna take those idjits awhile to get their acting legs back if they don't want to milk Sam and Dean character clones for the remainder of their "leading man" careers. Why does Ackles lose his charisma outside of Supernatural? Because right now anything that's not Dean is out of his range and he'll need to work that out again before he'll make a dent beyond Supernatural based on anything but looks.
-
and seeing how much time they spend in Vancouver, he should hop a flight to Startford, Ontario during hiatus and bug the folks at the Stratford Festival for a shot in a stage production. That'll really kick his ass in a high pressure acting environment and put him back on his game.

Yeah I meant Steve Austin! lol, that's what happens when you've watched The Avengers 4 times!!

Both the mains have grown so much as performers but its time to let it and them go Them so that they can surprise us with their next performance Or if you have to keep the franchise going, bring in new characters It is a deep and wide 'verse they created Too bad you killed off Ellen, Jo and Bobby You fucking morons
-
Seems like a cool guy and he's awesome as Dean but he's drowning when he tries to play a different character. He was unwatchable in My Bloody Valentine. He will play Dean forever in one way or the other. But it's okay. It's not like Harrison Ford can play anything other than Indiana Jones or Han Solo. (Sleepwalking through Blade Runner on purpose does not count.)
-
Pretty much the only non-fantasy, non-tweeny-bopper series on the network. And it's well-written, exciting, and has Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca in skimpy outfits most weeks.
-
Yes please!
-
People ridicule the show just because it features teen characters, but the first two seasons actually featured very strong plotlines. This third season, though, has been all over the place and throws way too many twists at the screen. It's hard to care when there's so much deus ex machina.
-
I watch it every week, but it's a shadow of what it was.

1.NOTHING about season seven worked. 2.Weren't Ellen and Jo die in the fifth? Don't fault them for that.
by Shermdawg
Fault CW.

Fucking phone call...

Happy to hear it's coming back. Like sex, even when it's bad, it's good. Love the characters and pop references. Just a fun show to enjoy, no matter how whacky it gets.
-
One small step for good taste, one giant leap for mankind.
-
He's a great actor who needs to be given a chance in a film that isn't a run of the mill slasher flick. I have great confidence in his acting talents. You're being a poopy pants! :(
-
I have finally given up on Supernatural. I struggled through season 6 and 7 just was the finish for me.It seems they are just throwing things on the wall hoping they stick. If, by some great miracle, they can turn things around next season I will gladly jump aboard again.
