Updated With Images!! Help Catch The Batman To See The New DARK KNIGHT RISES Trailer Days Before THE AVENGERS!!

The Kidd here...

So we already know that the new trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is set to be attached to prints of THE AVENGERS when it assembles in theatres on May 4th. One big look at a highly anticipated summer comic book movie with another... but what if we didn't have to wait until those midnight showings to get a better glimpse at what Christopher Nolan has in store for us...? What if we could collectively make it happen right now?

That looks to be the goal of the viral campaign for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, which just kicked off this morning in asking for your help to capture the vigilante known as the Batman, who is being sought after as being responsible for six deaths, including two police officers and of course Harvey Dent.

Heading over to TheDarkKnightRises.com will reveal a dossier complete with warrant for Batman's arrest as well as other documents from the Office of the Commissioner, in addition to a list of addresses worldwide where graffiti supporting Batman's return is believed to exist. Tweeting photographic evidence of it with the hashtag #tdkr07202012 or emailing it to tdkr07202012@gothampolicedepartment.com (make sure your GPS is enabled on your device to confirm the location) is what they're looking for, and, as for the benefit of heading off on this chase to help the authorities suppress support for the Dark Knight... well, right now, it's a frame-by-frame reveal of the new trailer - found at tdkr07202012.com - which will continue compiling until all the evidence as been found, at which point, we've got a full new trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES to lay our eyes on.

So, want to see the new trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES before this weekend's AVENGERS? Get out and do your part. Help the Gotham City Police Department find Batman.

UPDATE: A lot of people are heading out to these addresses/locations in the hopes of finding these Bat-markings, but what exactly would you be looking for once you get there? With the help of Twitter and that hashtag, here's a good look...
