Beaks here...

From the fertile creative minds of filmmaker Edgar Wright and artist Tommy Lee Edwards springs THE RANDOM ADVENTURES OF BRANDON GENERATOR, a tale of severe writer's block mysteriously conquered in the midst of an espresso-fueled blackout. It is a story with only a beginning, a lushly-illustrated, evocatively-scored (by David Holmes and Unloved) setup for an adventure that has yet to be written. And what happens next is up to you.

This is your chance to collaborate on a motion-comic of sorts with Wright and Edwards (and perhaps hear your words intoned by The Mighty Boosh's Julian Barratt). All you have to do is head over to, watch the first episode, and then click on "Get Involved" for details on how you can contribute to this unwritten narrative. Or, if you just like to watch, sit back and let the tale unfold over the next few months.

And if you're wondering when Edgar Wright will direct his next feature, perhaps you should follow the man on Twitter and, as Kevin Feige suggested, pay close attention to his feed. There may be a marvelous development in his future.

when will Edgar Wright direct his next feature?

    by Spandau Belly

Probably around the same time some studio feels like losing money to capture the hipster zeitgeist in a mediocre film.

  • If it's Dr. Strange that would be beyond awesome! But I look forward to it, imagine if we finally got our Black Panther movie!!! I'm pumped just at the possibility.

  • April 13, 2012, 1:16 p.m. CST

    Hes finally doing his Ant-Man?

    by AshMcQ

    Hope so!

    It BETTER be Ant-Man

    by -Halfscan-

I love Wrights work, but not getting Ant-Man off the ground years ago really, really irks me... especially since we're stuck with an Avenger's flick without the founding members of the team

If this turns out to be a different Marvel title, and the whole time keeping the character off-limits for Wright's use has been wasted I may have to seriously nerd-rage.

  • I remember thinking I would hate it the way, Harry and crew were hyping this thing. But I freaking love this movie! The acting in it had me dying with laugher. Chris Evans was freaking great as usual lol. And it's the one time were I actually enjoyed Michael Cera simply being Michael Cera lol.

    For shame spandau belly

    by Inglorious Bastard

If you dislike Scott Pilgrim or Hot Fuzz, whatever. I happen to love them, but to each his own. Shaun of the Dead, on the other hand, is already a classic.

"stuck" with an avengers movie without the founding members?

    by SupermanIsMyGod

Lol, Jesus man, you really can't please some people..."Cap, iron man, Thor, hulk...whatever, where's hank Pym?? This movie will suck all the dicks without a guy who talks to ants!! EPIC FAIL PWN NOOBS FAIL FAIL FAIL FACT!!"

  • April 13, 2012, 1:53 p.m. CST

what the fuck is up with you guys and AntMan and Dr Strange

    by yourSTEPDADDY

people bitch about too many superhero movies then theres like 3 of you on the net actually wanting a 4th tier superhero and/or wizard? do you guys want marvel to not make money? seriously. a guy who grows? a guy who does mystic stuff? wtf guys

  • April 13, 2012, 1:54 p.m. CST

    @ supermanismygod

    by -Halfscan-

THE founding members. Pym suggested they create the group & Wasp named it... and Cap was still on ice.

i will do as you ask.

  • April 13, 2012, 1:59 p.m. CST

I know man, I read comics too

    by SupermanIsMyGod

The fact that we have an Avengers movie is nothing less than a goddamn miracle and if the powers that be decided they'd rather bring in Hawkeye and the widow instead of ant man and the wasp, then so be it. Your use of the word "stuck" is what threw me. I just don't see Dr pym's absence as being detrimental to the film as he's a 2nd tier member best known for bitchslapping his wife once upon a time

    Edgar Wright will direct

    by jellypop

whatever he wants. I really can't either Ant-Man or Dr.Strange being his thing. That's just me though...I may be a million miles off. I think he'd suit the Fantastic Four or a Power Pack type deal.

Can't access any of the links past the homepage on this blackberry

    by alexander

Maybe it's time to pay back that 20 quid I owe to the library. Or kill my landlady and take back what's rightfully mine from her apartment. Its been a week and the police don't seem to be taking the theft remotely seriously. Decisions decisions. I'm so confused right now.

  • Oh that's right, because I was good at sports as a kid.

  • Holy shit I can now see the fundemental disconnect between knowing Antman, and being good at any kind of sport... where it had previously only remained invisible in my mind, dormant in denial. The two are so obviously interelated on and under the surface that hell, they go together like black paint on minstral face. This kidicarus may be a genius, and a messiah.

The only way to do Ant-Man is a comedy

    by sunwukong86

Im sorry but you can't do a serious superhero movie with Ant Man

  • April 13, 2012, 8:10 p.m. CST

    The Doctor is in!

    by MooseMalloy

    I hope.

  • "Upgrade to Windows 7." "A Production By Internet Explorer." Worse than the Avengers without Wasp and Antman/Giantman. And no Antman/Giantman or Wasp stinks. Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch not being in it makes sense with someone else owning X-Men, and Vision probably isn't there because they aren't. Too early for Wonderman or Miss Marvel. Black Panther's got his own movie coming up (hopefully). But geez, they could have had Hank Pym in there somewhere, hopefully there's at least a reference. Yeah, we're dorks, but cannon is cannon, they could at least try. Still not using IE9 either, gotta tell ya it makes me less interested in this Brandon Generator thing.

Brandon Generator thing is pretty interesting, might give it a go

    Especially since it uses OGG

    by solvseus

Who uses OGG? I could see using WM, especially since it keeps saying I should upgrade to W7 and IE9, but OGG? Really? I'm not even that much of a dork.

  • April 14, 2012, 1:21 a.m. CST

    already using win 7

    by rakesh patel

watched using chrome, same content as ie9 by the way the skype user id is correct on the card, not on the text that appears on the top of the screen.

Shrinking Man/Woman is an archetypal scifi trope.

    by Bedknobs and Boomsticks

If you don't get that, or don't find those stories entertaining, then you are on the wrong site. Anyhow, the new cartoon demonstrates how devastating a full-human strength punch from a foe you can't see concentrated on a tiny area of the body can be. People go into paroxysms of fear over a new flu, yet you don't think a microscopic hero could be a threat to a villain? Please grow an imagination.

  • April 14, 2012, 7:48 a.m. CST

    much love @ kidicuras

    by alexander

Not every one is the don quixote of arrested development from their school days to the point they now deludedly visit the wank bank at their mothers instructions every week day, to give it up and/or shake the others down. That's just you mate.

Would way prefer a MICRONAUTS movie to an ANTMAN
