THIS piece at ClevverTv (via ComingSoon) has a discussion with Dylan Sprayberry, who plays a young Clark Kent (counterpart to Henry Cavill's older iteration) in Zack Snyder's new MAN OF STEEL movie. Sprayberry offered his assessment of how Snyder & Co. are interpreting the source material for their new movie. Not much that we haven't already heard or inferred, but interesting food for thought nonetheless...
Says Sprayberry...
...they want to give it a more edgy feel like The Dark Knight but also make it more realistic and emotional so it’s not just the all-american superhero that saves everyone. He has dilemmas and love and struggles throughout the whole movie, especially when he’s a kid.
Reiterating a thought I Tweeted a few days ago: I recently, FINALLY, caught-up with IMMORTALS and am now utterly convinced that Henry Cavill will make an excellent Superman, provided Snyder doesn't fuck up this movie. Word is we'll be seeing our first teasers or trailers for MAN OF STEEL very soon. I can't wait to get a look at those...quite, quite, QUITE curious to see how this all shakes out.
