Tim Olyphant’s “Deadwood” co-star Jim Beaver makes his fifth “Justified” appearance, this time as newly minted Sheriff Shelby. Cathy Cahlin Ryan, who played Vic Mackey’s wife on “The Shield,” guest stars on tonight’s episode as a Christian rock aficionado and kidnap victim.

Jere Burns. Neal McDonough. Mykelti Williamson. The callback to Pruitt Taylor Vince’s Glenn Fogle. Raylan’s final scene with Wynn Duffy. “That’s right. They’re outside.” “That one you can keep.” “The expression ain’t. On account of the truth contained therein.” Tim Olyphant generally but his use of a meaty prop in particular.
