Last year's MIDNIGHT IN PARIS surprised everyone - not because of how good it turned out, it's a Woody Allen, man's made some of the greatest movies of all time - but because no one expected it to be so successful at the box office. It ended up clearing over $150 million worldwide, which makes it one of Woody's most profitable movies ever.
Now Woody's back this summer - TO ROME WITH LOVE is a comedic exploration of that city, and he's brought together a terrific cast, including Allen, Judy Davis, Alec Baldwin, Ellen Page, Jesse Eisenberg, Penelope Cruz, and Roberto Benigni (!). I think the trailer's very funny, with signature Allen dialogue, and looks worth seeing:
TO ROME WITH LOVE opens this June.
