Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. You've been paying attention, hopefully... so you won't make me list all 26 directors of The ABCs of Death, one of the first movies to be actively produced by Drafthouse Films. The concept is that each letter of the alphabet will be represented in 3 minute-ish segments written and directed by a huge amount of the talented up and coming genre filmmakers from around the world.
Very curious to see how this one plays out. Can a 26-part anthology horror movie work as a feature? Fucked if I know, but I do know that when you have the guys behind A Serbian Film and Hobo With A Shotgun contributing that we're going to see some fucked up shit.
EW premiered the poster and I gotta say... I love it. It looks like the kind of video cover I'd see at the video store in my youth that'd make me pick it up and check the back of the box. That's a good thing for you kids in this new, wondrous digital era.
