Check-In For A Look At HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA's Animation!!
The Kidd here...
About a week ago, some images from Genndy Tartakovsky's HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA made their way out into the open. If you were impressed by what you saw then, I've got a feeling you're going to enjoy seeing them in action in this Russian trailer for the film (via Filmz.ru).
Unless you speak or understand Russian, you'll have no idea what the hell is being said, but at least you can look at the pretty pictures...

The dude walks in- Hey, ( people..er.. Monsters gasp) a human?! the dude-... Oh, man, where am I? HOTEL TRANSYLVANIYA Dracula- A normal hotel, nothing out of the ordinary. ( he opens the wall) ( can't make out the female skeleton, but I'm sure it is somewhere along the lines of) WTF, I'm a chick skeleton in the shower!!) or whatever female skeletons say while being suprised in the shower) Dracula, oy, wrong door. (male skeleton) Have you lost your heads?! Watch on Halloween 2012

That actually looks better than I expected. It has a stop-motion look and a "Nightmare Before Christmas" vibe.

It could get worse when I hear the celebrity voices, but at this point I expected much worse. There appears to be an attempt to make the monsters and sets look more claymation/puppet animation than CGI.

I dunno, man, it looked exactly like Tartakovsky's earlier "removed from youtube" work to me. Guy's fucking one-note.
