Hey folks, Harry here... Got these in the ol email box and figured you'd want a gander at 'em.
The girl is Dracula's Daughter MAVIS as voiced by Selena Gomez. I'm betting they aren't pursuing a Gloria Holden track. And as all classic Universal Horror fans know, Dracula's Daughter was named MARYA. But that's splitting hairs - this is an entirely different kind of film from those. This will be silly. Need proof? Well that pair of floating glasses, they belong to David Spade who is playing THE INVISIBLE MAN. The Wolfman in the hat? That's WAYNE as voiced by Steve Buscemi - and the lil effeminate looking Wolfwoman/Wolfgirl/Wolfdame/Wolflady - she's gonna be voiced by Molly Shannon. Then you have Murray the Mummy as voiced by Cee Lo Green and Frank(enstein) is Kevin James. DRACULA in the above and below pics will be voiced by Adam Sandler. Then this character below with my hair? That's Johnnystein a human trying to pass for a supernatural - voiced by Andy Samberg.
Now - why should you give a shit about this movie?
It's pretty simple really, this animated film is being directed by Genndy Tartakovsky... Yeah, SAMURAI JACK, CLONE WARS... one time director of that DARK CRYSTAL continuation that Henson Creature shop was working to get off the ground. Yeah, the guy behind THE POWERPUFF GIRLS and DEXTER'S LAB. He's the guy that storyboarded the crazy IRON MAN 2 action.
He doesn't have his first feature under his belt yet, but I'm betting he does something amazing with this, unless someone is hogtying him with beaurocratic bullshit notes. But at this point, I don't see why anyone wouldn't trust Genndy's instincts. He's been gold thus far.
