Michael Ausiello’s TVLine website just posted some good news for “Fringe” fans.
Ausiello just upgraded Bad Robot’s multiverse sci-fi saga from “could go either way” to “a safe bet” for renewal. It’s the same series that used to be “a long shot” in Ausiello’s estimation.
Given that “Fringe” ratings are still pretty anemic – it only gets about half the adults 18-49 audience Fox’s just-cancelled “Terra Nova” did – I gather Ausiello got the scoop from somebody at Fox or Warner Bros. or Bad Robot.
The bad news is multiple sources have indicated that a fifth season of “Fringe” would be a cheaper season of “Fringe.”
