A few weeks ago, Dan Aykroyd spoke suggested that Bill Murray might not necessarily come back for the perpetually-in-development GHOSTBUSTERS 3. When speaking with The Telegraph, Aykroyd expanded upon Murray's lack of interesting in the project - now presenting a Murray-less GHOSTBUSTERS film, which once seemed theoretical, as something of a certainty.
When asked if GHOSTBUSTER 3 will materialize, Aykroyd replied...
“I honestly don’t know. At this point it’s in suspended animation. The studio, the director Ivan Reitman and Harold Ramis feel there must be a way to do it, but Bill Murray will not do the movie. He doesn’t want to be involved. He’s got six kids, houses all over America. He golfs in these tournaments where they pay him to turn up and have a laugh. He’s into this life and living it."

In related news, the recently issued Ecto-1 from Hot Wheels Elite is extremely well-done. I'm not a fan of the images featured on Hot Wheels web site, as they mute the crispness and shininess of the actual replica. The surface of the real thing? Very polished, with highly reflective chrome and whatnot. I do wish it was lighted...as lights are a big part of the fun on that particular vehicle. Alas...
