Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Our buddies over at Collider got the jump on 20th Century Fox, who apparently figured they didn't want to release the first poster for their big Summer Sci-Fi comedy online, when he snapped a shot of the Neighborhood Watch poster actually up in a movie theater!
Remember those days, when the first time you'd see a poster was at the theater? It'd be spectacular if all the studios joined forces one summer and never released any trailers or posters online... but then again you'd have nothing but bootlegs online. I guess those days are long gone, but a fella can look back fondly at a simpler time, can't he?
Anyway, here's the poster. The flick wasn't really on my radar at all, but looks like some fun people playing with a fun concept. I'm a big fan of Akiva Schaffer and was one of the only people that liked Hot Rod when it came out. Seems like that film is slowly finding its fans.
So, the flick features Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Will Forte, Richard Ayoade (DEAN LEARNER!!!, Billy Crudup and Doug Jones as "Hero Alien." Yeah, this could be a good one...
