007.com has a quick Videoblog with Sam Mendes, director of ROAD TO PERDITION and AMERICAN BEAUTY, about his helming of the forthcoming James Bond adventure SKYFALL.
In the piece, Mendes asserts... "it is still possible to make a big, fabulous, glamorous, escapist move and yet, at the ame time, to say something about the wordl we'rte living in."
Interestingly, Mendes is quick to exalt Martin Campbell's CASINO ROYALE but makes no reference whatseover to its follow-up, QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
