Hey folks, Harry here... might as well bring you these clips too. I'm still drunk on this flick. It's big sci-fi-fantasy without cute kids or any goth influences. Now first, here's John Carter meeting Tars Tarkas, a character that will continue to capture you over this hopeful saga.
Now, as you can see, Carter has had some grooming and missing clothing. This is a scene where John is attempting to escape but meets an incredibly awesome animal, who will become a badass & lovable pet. Sort of like the most amazing pitbull ever. WOOLA.
then here we have a key moment in the film. This isn't where Dejah Thoris and John Carter first meet. That is simply a spectacular scene. An amazing rescue that shows... well, that's a different scene. This is where John & Dejah begin a conversation that is beyond either of their's understanding. But begins their journey from the first key location on Mars. This is very early in their relationship before the chemistry really kicks in.
The remnants of what John does is their rear light source. The fantasy violence in this does have some intensity I don't think y'all are expecting, but this is several levels above their Narnia work at Disney.
