HEADHUNTERS has a UK Trailer... this is a film you need to keep your eyes out for!

Hey folks, Harry here...  One of my favorite films that came out of 2011's FANTASTIC FEST was this one.   It's being remade in the United States, but the performances and story is just amazing.   About a Corporate Headhunter that moonlights as an International Art Thief - and the story just moves like you're skiing down K2.    Only - I promise you won't die watching it, but you'll die in that, "JESUS THAT WAS GREAT" kind of way.    Wonderful work, now - enjoy the trailer...

    by MaxCalifornia.

Haven't even played the video yet, but in that still frame, looks a lot like Walken circa Anderson Tapes

    like a real head hunter

trying to poach people from their current jobs to other jobs. a bit like telemarketing. spend all day on the phone with people you might never meet, trying to convince them to give you 5% of the employees starting salary for a service they never didn't want.

    Cracking movie

    by melonman

The more preposterous it gets the more fun it is. Starts as a serious cool movie then just goes apeshit - and it's great.

    Seen it....

    by spyro

thought it was dreadful. Beyond the ridiculous premise it just gets more and more ludicrous. All the events in the film could have been avoided by the two characters just having a conversation with each other.

I want those minutes back from watching that meh trailer.

    by Tikidonkeypunch

Only cool part was when he replace the painting with the fake. Otherwise more pretentious Euro trash which were supposed to think is cool, or good because they speak with an English accent.

    Just finished reading the book

    by Michael Frost

Got the novel it's based on for Christmas (my Dad thought I'd like it as I'm a recruiter and like Larson's other books). From the trailer, looks like they kept it faithful (at least I could place all the scenes from the trailer). Good book, not as good as some of his other stuff, but if they kept it close to the source material, could make for a decent thriller.

Except frostyos, Stieg didn't write this book...

    by Guy Grand

Its author is the great Jo Nesbo. Raises a bit of doubt if you even read the thing. Anyway, I encourage everyone to dive into Nesbo's great Harry Hole ("Hooley") detective books: "The Redbreast," "Nemesis," "The Devil's Star," "The Redeemer," "The Snowman," and "The Leopard" in that order. (I think Snowman is being made into a U.S. movie). I'm in the middle of Redeemer and nothing comes close to these Scandinavian detective books other than Sjowall and Wahloo's Martin Beck series in the '70s. Absolutely mature, intriguing, smart books.

@guy grand no need to be pedantic

    by Michael Frost

It was a brain fart, mixed up the author. Calling it out like that is a bit douchey
