The film, about a young boy's treacherous journey across a fallen Earth 1,000 years in the future, also stars Jaden's father Will and Sophie Okonedo - so wonderfully striking and fun as Liz 10 (Queen Regnant of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) in DOCTOR WHO.
Expected in theaters June 2013, AFTER EARTH is written by Shyamalan along with Stephen Gaghan (TRAFFIC, SYRIANA) and Gary Whitta (BOOK OF ELI).
