I know,it seems formulaic for the most part, but that's part of a good action movie, right?Everybody says it looks like a rip-off of the Matrix, but didn't everybody agrre when The Matrix came out that more action movies should be like that, that that's the formula for The Better Action Movie?I think we should be down on our knees and thanking The Powers What Spawned Us that this movie looks like the Matrix. This has been a Thoughtful(More or Less)Moment with User ID Indeed!Thank you, thank you.

I didn't mean to be first.I even typed a nice long 'un,to give people a chance. After all,if there's one thing I've learned since I've started being a regular TalkBacker-and believe me,I've only learned one thing-it's that saying "I'm first" stinks because the boards always get screwed up for some reason and you end up with the phrase "I'm first" somewhere in the middle of the page.It feels nice and special at first, but it's an empty achievement,y'know?A fruitless accomplishment if ever I've had one.I've been first a few times, and once-only once-I said "I'm first!!!!",and it ended up making me feel belittled and immature.Even more so than usual. So it's pointless to bother,in my humble opinion. This has been a Wise,Yoda-esque moment with User ID Indeed!
-
It just screwed up!My last "Sorry,Harry_is_Fat"message should be at the bottom, but it's at the top!It just screwed up!Why does this happen?!?I don't know!!!
But if I had put"I'm first!!",I'd look pretty friggin' stupid. That's what I'm talkin' about. This has been a Confused Like a Rhino Moment with User ID Indeed! -
I won't go in to the others that this rule hold true for, but it certainly applies. I gotta admit though, that Wolverine vs. Sabretooth battle on the Statue of Liberty looks to have a certain level of "badass"ness to it. Note that Wolverine doesn't have his claws exposed when they are fighting before the proverbial "snikt", so in my opinion he actually is unsheathing his claws rather than simply "extending his arm." Now if only the rest of the trailer didn't inspire an overwhelming feeling of "er......."
-
That statue of liberty battle kinda sucked. If you look how wolvie gets thrown and spins around the crown..... Obvious wire job!! If you frame by frame the so called snickt you will see the claws never pop out. It is ment to appear as if they do no doubt but it looks as if they resorted to a very common camera trick to acheive this. Crappy!!
-
What I meant was that, in the second sequence, when he lands on the spike of the crown, his claws are already exposed, thus when he is extending his arm, the "snikt" effect was added in later....crap.

In other news, I'm very excited that Pac Blue has made the jump to the big screen. At last we can see police bike patrols depicted in the on the silver screen in all the glory they demand. -
Here's hoping this is one of those flicks where the trailer sucks and the film rocks.
-
Let's get one thing staright, people: it's not a trailer, it's a teaser. A little flash of images and sounds made to make you say " whoa, what's that?" Now, you jaded little fanboys have been clogging up the web with your pissing and moaning..."oh, it doesn't look like Wolverine's costume, with the blue underwear on the outside", etc, etc. You have taken it upon yourselves to deem this movie a failure, from a scant minute of quickly edited footage. They just stopped filming principal phtotgraphy TODAY!!! Got that? Nearly two weeks after the damned thing hit theatres. You don't like what you see? Don't go. Plain and simple. It's amazing how much time you people have dedicated to criticizing Ian McKellen's homosexuality and The Toad not wearing his brown little jester's outfit. I, for one, think this movie's going to kick ass, for one reason. It's NOT the film you fanboys so depreately want. Glenn Danzig as Wolverine? Sean Connery as Magneto? Buy a fuckin' clue
-
All I can say is, you can't judge a book by it's cover. I've seen plenty of FANTASTIC trailers and teasers for movies that turned out to be COMPLETELY CRUMMY. And, I've seen GREAT movies with the WORST trailers... After seeing the teaser for M:I2 (which I thought was visually amazing and very inventive), I suddenly realized advertisements have very little to do with the finished film. I'm not saying the M:I2 film will be terrible or wonderful, I'm only saying that films and trailer/teasers are apples and oranges.... I just think we should keep that sort of stuff in mind. Another example... has anyone here ever seen the ORIGINAL Star Wars trailer (it's on the old Star Wars Trilogy Definitive Collection Laserdisc Set). What shit! It's no wonder it was booed the first time an audience saw it! However, having said that.... the problem, I think, with this X-Men trailer is that it's extremely bland story wise, and lacks real visual dynamics. There's no hook to it. To get me to want to see a film, there's got to be a) something visually interesting b) something, plot-wise, interesting, or c) something, character-wise, interesting. The X-Men teaser/trailer has nothing that shouts to me YOU MUST SEE THIS FILM. It's got a couple mildly interesting images in it (I love the bald guy rising out of the water, and no matter what anyone says, the Wolvie/Sabretooth stuff looks pretty intense), but other than that, absolutely NOTHING hooks me into the film. That's okay to do, if you've got a visually amazing, super- catchy and flashy trailer (such as with M:I2), but the X-Men teaser isn't any of those things! So... we need to hook audiences, intrigue them, with interesting plot hooks... and there's none of that, either! What the heck HAPPENED with this thing? The only mildly intriguing element is Xavier's 'We're not who you think we are' statement.... And even that is a little limp. Hopefully the film will have more life to it...

...okey doke... I've held my comments to myself-hoping I'd see some sense on these boards regarding the X-Men movie/trailer...
JEEZUZ FREAKIN CHRIST GEEKS!!!! Give the trailer/Movie a FREAKIN Chance!!! Stop bitching on how it looks etc... etc.. blah blah blah... let's see if any of you can do any better!!! Would any of you morons rather not have an X-Men movie? Tell you what, stop your bitching and DON'T SEE THE MOVIE.. and shut your GABRONI ASSES up and don't ruin it for the rest of us who plan to see it WITH AN OPEN FREAKIN MIND.
There...
luv luv...

Enough with this argument about the "snikt" scene. Yes, Wolvie's claws are out before said scene, but this is just a product of clever editing when making a teaser/trailer. I'll bet that, in the movie, the shot where Wolverine pops his claws will come before the rest of the fight. The way they built it in the teaser was just to get your attention and leave you wanting more. . . whether this actually worked or not is entirely up to you. So, stop worrying about it! Sheesh!

Why "Teasers" matter (Spell Checker you say too many smart thing
by niiiice
Damn I have to agree with you again. No matter how unfair it is to judge a movie based on random images, the fact is Teasers and Trailers are MEANT to be judged. Teasers and trailers are the things that are going to be putting butts in the theaters much more so than reviews or print ads! So I really don't get it when people say "you can't judge a movie by its trailer." Trailers (or teasers) are marketing tools designed to get you into the theater. If it turns out to be a really bad film, then the marketing boys did a hell of a good job tricking you into seeing it. If the trailer happens to be a somewhat lackluster effort like this X-Men bit we have here, don't BLAME people for having negative reactions! Teasers exist solely to stir up interest in a film and they are supposed to make viewers react favorably (or unfavorably as is the case here).
-
I have seen the ending of the X-men movie, SPOILER WARNING! Read no further if you want to avoid hearing spoiler information! OK, ready? Magneto and his brotherhood of evil mutants are on the verge of taking over New York, when suddenly, out of the blue...Storm jumps into her white Chevy Blazer, runs them all over, and then drives home. Ah ha ha, I got you. Sucker.
-
I can't believe who they hired to write the script for the Fantastic Four Movie! This is gonna suck! Can you believe who they cast? That cast sucks! And Marvel should be shot for hiring that director, he's no James Cameron. I'm gonna hate this movie. Goddamn Marvel, why didn't they make it more comic book-like, they should've consulted Jack Kirby. They should've just not made this movie at all.
Just thought I'd say all that before anyone else did. Since it'll all be said in time. -
What's up with the silver plugs in Logan's chest? I only noticed them after viewing the new download. Any ideas? + Chris Katan from SNL as Nightcrawler. Think about it.
-
okay okay.. with all this "its a TEASER" and its meant to be judged
CRAP... don't ruin it for others-who again-HAVE AN OPEN FREAKIN MIND!!!! Sheesh. Cut the crap already!!!
BUT, on a lighter note.. as far as the 101998's spoiler is SO FREAKIN FUNNY!!!! HAHAHAHAHA... ACK! oh no! I see Halle's white SUV heading right at me!!! RUN!!!
And for those who don't like my anti-anti-X-Men-tailer/teaser rant.. S U C K I T!!!!!!
(hey don't blame me.. I'm a Postal Worker... I'm PMS'ing like a muther... and I'm an-ANTI-NONOPEN-MINDED-MORON basher) :) -
Hello, new guy here. About that X-Men teaser: yes, we see Wolverine's claws out before the "snikt" but then said "snikt" occurs as the music abruptly stops and cues Patrick Stewart's Notable Quotable. I don't think it's a mistake on the editor's part, but rather the sequence is out of order to make the last scene the money shot, i.e. the aforementioned "snikt".
One other thing, if I may. Much hay has been made over the inability of film and TV to reproduce superhero costumes. Given the inexplicable convention in comics of drawing musculature into the characters' costumes -- honestly, is there ANY material that will outline a set of washboard abs in such stark relief? -- it's something of a miracle if a costume designer can even come close to the original. The X-Men was about matching ensembles from the beginning, so the movie suits really aren't that far afield, and anyway, the I'm-such-a-badass-that-I-can-wear-yellow factor aside, Wolverine's costume has always been rather ridiculous. It's neither functional nor even representational. -
At first glance this movie does look like a huge turd burger, but I find it hard to believe that Patrick Stewart needs money so bad he would do a shitty film actually worse than Batman & Robin.
-
i think that since the trailer came out before they had a chance to do some special effects. it will be coming out of the back of his hands in the movie, but didn't have enough time to do that effect in the trailer. also, who cares what the hell their costumes look like, did you all bitch and moan when Batman didn't where his gray and blue suit in the '88 batman, and will you bitch and moan when they change the costumes in the x-men comic books coming out within the next few month... change is good... like it... Okami out.

I've been a long time reader of AICN, and the Talk-Backs tend to be the most blood curling sections of the whole site. I'm amazed at how many movie illiterate individuals state meaningless or ill-thought-out responses to the many subjects discussed here.
Niiiice: Yes, the 'snikt' was probably added later. Trailers always do this. Trailers are a compilation of images and sounds not necessarily in sequence with the final film print. So, a certain sound you hear with an image in a trailer does not necessarily go together in the movie.
Wheel99: Yes it's either a wire job, or a CG wolverine. Instead of enjoying the move for what it is, (human defying), people like yourself get so caught up with the technical aspect of things.
It's like people blurting out 'My god that is so fake!' when they saw Jar Jar for the first time, they know there isn't a creature like that in existance, so instant reaction is 'that's fake, and I'll show the world that I'm right'
Then you talk about the claws, well this trailer you saw on the web isn't exactly 24+ frames per second, so it's possible that the unsheathing effect could have been included with the ommitted frames. So even if you go frame by frame, you aren't seeing ALL of the frames. This is to reduce file size and hence download time. You are NOT seeing real play back quality.
Oh, and that was his right claw, his left claw was already extended when sliding down the crown spike.
And even then, this IS a trailer. The REAL sequence in the film may have the unsheathing part first before the battle starts, and the sliding-down-the- spike-part with claw(s) extended may be sometime after that.
In closing, it's important for everyone to remember this is a trailer - things are usually never what they seem in a trailer, there are so many cuts, sound splicing, and other tricks to fool you. In this case I think it's done a great job in throwing a lot of you off.
All you tech-heads better losen up, or you'll never have fun in the theater.
-Syn
ps. Episode 1 is probably my favorite trailer of all time, it was very well put together. -
I finally saw the Iron Giant laat night....we've all seen so many trailers and movies and sci-fi and computer effects and we're all so jaded and everyone who is judging this movie on 30 seconds of seeing costumes is totally foolish, theres nothing in the universe they could have showed you that everyone wouldnt bitch and whine about, i dont like the wigs, thats a great one. it looks fake, it looks lousy, the costumes wah wah wah fools, yeah, thats what makes a movie great...wah wah wah wah wah, i hope this movie rules so i can see all the hypocritical bastards post their opinions on why the wigs and costumes worked so well, now that we've seen them in the CONTEXT OF THE MOVIE, maggots...teaser trailer doesnt mean shit.
-
As someone who knows next to nothing about the X-Men, I was still lukewarm on the teaser. Some it looked cool (the SOL fight), while some inspired groans (Halle Berry's noticeable wig). I am going to take the spring and learn more about the X-Men before seeing the film, but I just wanted to mention that as proof that it's not only the die hard fans who may have some reservations. Still, it is just a teaser, and as was mentioned before by Spell Checker, teasers can be very deceptive. Look at Godzilla! That museum teaser rocked! Not so the final product. So, I guess we won't know till July. Lastly, I have the original ANH teaser if anyone wants to see it. Spell Checker is right. It's not inspiring.

I resent the comments that mickfinn made though I'm not really bothered about Sir ian's
private life it gotta to be an honour that an actor of his caliber has taken the role of
magneto then some cheap crappy z
actor. What I'm pissed about is the lack of respect these movie makers have for the material and
its fans because it's a comic book. They make stupid excuses like the costumes are hard to translate on screen and stuff like that. This is coming from an
industry that deals with illusion everyday. There is a reason why
wolverine wears a mask in battle and why cyclops wears blue, the
same reason why Sherlock holmes
wears the coat and hat. It's part of who and what the character is.Why do we fan boys bitch and moan?Prehaps because of the great productions many of us has seen from WIZARD OF OZ to PLANET OF THE APES the costumes were good the worlds they created on film were real, both based on books.
What comics have over books is we
already know what the character looks like and the world they live in.So it should be easy to
replicate that for the big screen.
The costumes in XMEN are bad and
half the actors in this are miscast.THESE GUYS WANT A CASH COW AND THEY GOING ABOUT IT THE WRONG WAY.I reckon Sam Raimi's
take on spider man will be the first proper marvel adaptation
and Chris Columbus idea for the FF movie too.(Hey the guys been
going on about this film for over a decade so he's got passion for
it in which you need.)When it come down to it is this when
compared to the likes of Rocky and Bullwinkle and the dazzling
spectacle which is How The Grinch
Stole Christmas(Another example
how to get a look of a franchise
right)XMEN is just gonna look like a matrix rip off.
-
I don't get it! This is the same trailer we've been seeing, just a larger version, and everyone is pissing and moaning again like it's something new! I tried to watch the larger version, and maybe it's just the crappy computers this tight wad college of mine provides, but the teaser kept skipping and jumping around to where I just couldn't watch it, so I closed the window and went back to good old "medium." Bigger isn't always better. It looks like the big beef in this thread so far is the claw poppin at the end of the trailer. Some say they extended, some say they were already out. I don't really care either way, it's the coolest shot in the whole trailer! Some say the snikt is just a sound trick to make you think the claws are extending, well, my comp won't even let me hear any sound with the trailer, so I wouldn't know, and it still looks to me like they extend. Someone said that is you watch it frame by frame you can see that the claws are already out. Let me ask you something, are you going to watch the movie frame by frame? NO, so if they can save a few bucks with a simple camera trick like that then I say God and Jack Kirby bless'em, save some more FX budget for some of the more flashy effects! Niiice said that a trailer or teaser is designed to make you want to see a movie. No offense to him or anyone else, but to me that is like the argument that seeing violence on tv will make you violent. I know whether or not I want to see a movie long before the trailer comes out, the previews just whet my whistle. It doesn't matter to me if it is good or bad, if it is about a movie I want to see, then I'll take it! Well, kiddies, that's all I have time for. One more exam to go, then I'm out for SPRING BREAK!!!! Adios puntas de los computadoras, y viva los hombres de equis!!!
-
I tried sending this scoop to Harry, but it said his mail box was full, so I posted it in a talk back about the Danger Girl script, now I'm going to post it here because it is more appropriate for an X-thread...
In this month's issue of Wizard magazine they reported on the comic adaptations of the X-Men movie (kinda redundant, aint it?). Starting in early June Marvel will release three 48 page one shots that are like prequels for the film. They will each be 48 pages long, no ads, with a photo cover of whater character they are about, either Magneto, Wolverine, or Rogue. These prequels give exposition on each character, detailing the events that led them to be where they are in the film. Then in late June or reeeeealy early July Marvel will release the film comic. It too will be a 48 page one shot with no ads and a photo cover. Plus, the creative teams behind these books have the script and action stills from the film to make the comic as faithful to the film as possible (God, is this going to piss the fan boys off). That's the news, and I for one am looking forward to it all!!! -
Last year, people were going over the Star Wars trailers like they were the Zapruder assassination films, now this. All I can say is that judging by a teaser isn't much. A lot of teasers contain NO footage of the film, just a quick set-up to entice people. Until the actual main trailer comes out, I am keeping an open mind about the film. Some trailers are better than the movie (Godzilla comes to mind) and some aren't. I could tell "Wild Wild West" was going to suck the first time I saw the teaser. But I still went to it, keeping up hope. We are going to see the movie at least once. Whether I see it ten times like The Phantom Menace (which rocked as much as the trailer for it did) is a question I'll have to wait to answer. Until then, let's at least give them a chance, okay?
-
What affect will Halle's Hit and Run have on the promotional effort for this movie? Obviously, the studio is trying to mount public opinion to anticipate the film, but are they willing to risk it while Halle's being accused of running a red light, bashing someone's car, and then fleeing the scene? I want to see the movie anyway, even though I heard the movie plot is a giant mutation laser (that sucks), but what about non-fanboys?
-
This is a higher-res version of the same teaser/trailer!!!!! If you have already seen the previous versions umpteen trillion times, then DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS VERSION, unles you are an absolute fan-boy completists. I really wish they would have warned me of this before I wasted my time and bandwidth......one more thing, If they don't fix the order of talk backs around here, then I don't think I'll care to much to post read TB again.
-
What the hell is with people talking about how great the Grinch remake is gonna be? The original was perfect, nothing needs to be added! Why mess with it?
-
See "Masterminds." Or DON'T!!!
Proof that even the best need a
paycheck once in a while.
But I think it will be cool and
at least they are trying. -
Supposedly Roger Corman was doing a Fantastic Four movie years ago which Marvel shelved in favour of a bigger budget film to be done "at a future date". As I heard it, several scenes were shot... anyone have a clue as to what happened to them?
-
GODDAMN APPLE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY PIECE OF SHIT!!!
-
Is it just that my eyes mutated since the last time I watched the medium sized trailer, or is the color saturation all completely different in the "Bigger" version? The statue of liberty battle looks a hell of alot darker than it did in the earlier versions, or am I just trippin'?
-
Everything you ever wanted to know about Roger Corman's Fantastic Four movie, including stills and how to get a copy of the bootlegged movie, can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/Broadway/5798/movie.html

Wheels how can you be so blind....this is obviously a case of broom work...go look at the part when jackman is tossed out of the head...you can cleary see three or four gaffe men with brooms supporting hugh jackman... i can only assume they will be removed from the final film using a hair dryer and some rubber cement...also
the last word on the spike spin....the reason it looks so strange is because our view is from above and angled looking down....we are not at the same elevation...if you remember logan is being tossed UPWARDS and outwards....yet from our view he apears to be at our eye level and our elevation...this is one of the main reasons it looks so weird...when he grabs the spike he is still flying upward for a second before he starts to turn and level off...at the very end he appears to be flying up again when in reality he is now moving perpendicular to gravity, ie. he is moving directly left 2 rite without gaining or losing elevation...again it is only because of the camera angle and our assumption that we are staring straight forward that it appears as odd as it does....rant pt.2- I liked the Matrix as much as the next guy(though IronMonkey is better) but x-men has nothing to do with it... the costumes aren't like matrix their like Dune->Bob Ringwood....bullet time? my god(0) I remember that from my childhood...we used to call it "slow motion"...do you see any bullets?....that staging area from the matrix was pretty cool the first time i saw it... in 1984 on Spiderman & his Amazing Friends...it's called the Danger Room, look it up.....to all the little neo's out there...i think i've hurt you enough...and remember im always rite and your not.... -
As I was saying, you all have complained about the costumes, makeup, special effects, and pretty much everything else about the X-men movie. I for one hope that you get all your complaining out of your system now so that you can enjoy a good film (not great) when it comes out in July. But just to argue against what you are criticizing... (1)Yeah, hollywood could get the X-men into outfits that exactly match the comic, but why. Which of the 15 different costume designs from the comics would you like? Oh, not to mention that Wolverine's costume doesn't look all that different than when he is/was Patch. Consider this a darker costume change than the others in the comics. (2)If you know a way to make stark white hair look more believable, please tell me. (3)Special effects and sound editing are done after principal photography is finished. Considering princ. phot. just finished, I'd say they were working on effect & sound. Any of you who read anything about Phantom Menace knows there were only 250 shots out of how many? that weren't touched in some way be the effects team. If you even go by standards there will be about 500 shots in X-men that need some touch up by efects teams. Just to further the argument, how many movies have come out that had horrible teasers that ended up being pretty decent. The best example of this is one I'm sure every one of you has seen, if you don't already own it...The Matrix. If you remember the original teaser it was a scene with Keanu Reeves coming out of the egg thingy. Nothing even the least bit exciting there. Yet The Matrix turned out to be one of the best Sci Fi movies of all time. So, just give X-men a chance (which I know whatever you think you will because you will all be there opening week to see it). Thank you.
-
I'm gonna see it just to laugh my ass off at how much Jack Kirby would think it sucks.
This should be a riot! -
Okay, the teaser was a little underwhelming, but it's only a teaser. What bother's me is the fact that their all wearing black. I mean, is this supposed to indicate that there is more depth of character? Or that it's a cool, Tim Burtonesque version of those crazy mutants? Leave that dark crap alone and just make the movie look like the goddam comic books! Anyhow, let's just hope it doesn't blow! Later.
-
Gee, I guess that the movie itself can't be judged either. You see people, you can't judge by the script, the casting, the sets, the costumes, the trailer, or the movie itself. Why? Because you can not judge it at all on any level. I mean, look at "Weekend at Bernies II." Sure we may have thought part II was awful before and after we saw it, but we now know that it was great. The same thing can be seen with "Wild Wild West." Sure, after seeing the movie you felt frustrated and disgusted at the world for allowing such a monstrosity to be born, but we now know that it was cinematic genius. Why? Because you can't judge something after seeing plenty of evidence proving beyond any doubt that it was/will be painfully bad. You can't judge a book by it's cover or contents. All is bright and sunny at AICN, where everything is beyond criticism.
-
My brother saw Pitch Black (?) the other day and said that the X-trailer was cheered. He said there was about 40 people, mostly young men and that he had never heard that kind of reaction before to a movie trailer. He's not a huge comic fan and was really shocked.
-
Firstly, to those that were saying that the teaser was under-whelming, it's supposed to, believe it or not. Remember the World Is Not Enough teaser? I heard quite a few people say it didn't look like it did the film justice. Then the full trailer comes out, with it's timed cues and more selective shots and leaves you drooling for the film. The same with The Phantom Menace, the first teaser wasn't very exciting or energized, but the full trailer made everyone scream it's name in bed. This'll probably be the same. Also, the shots from the statue of liberty are out of order anyway, so the deal with Wolvie's arms mean little.
-
the next person that says anything about the costumes not being close enough to comic book needs a blow to the head. WHO GIVES....I DONT BECAUSE THEY LEFT ALL THE TRADEMARK STUFF IN THE CHARACTERS (EXCEPT FOR ROUGE, MAYBE), I MEAN AS LONG AS YOU KNOW WHO IS WHO AND THEY ARE WEARING SOME SORT OF UNIFORM, DOES IT REALLLLYYYY MATTER?????
NO!!!!!! -
I stopped a long time ago with reading x-men comics.
It Was when the cross-overs started(aloooooooooooooooong time ago).
The ones when you had to buy instead 1 comic had to buy suddenly 10 to keep up with one story arch( dito fantasic four, spiderman etc.)
The best way to look at this movie is to forget it all, what came before, like your slided to a parallel univers.
Marvelcomics had a "what if" comic-line +/-10 years ago where in in short (comic)story format things went different than in their marvel-continium for a lot of their hero's.
So extreem fans could treat it like such.
What if the x-men happend in our world. And how would they happen.
What i at least expect of fans is that they would have build up a mental flexability by now, reading those comics (i have i think).
The capability to experience the different and unexpected that could happen in their lives without going into culture-shock.
(widen your horizon stuff)
And every superhero(in) flic is fun how crumy they may look, wilma from buck rogers still looks stunning in spandex after all those reruns(these days i want to be assimilated by 7of9;voyager).
gemini-man,the invisible man,
The greatest american hero, misfits of science, the flash, spiderman, superman the movie, batman the movie, etc.
They all where fun to look at(still are).
people escaping from suburbia in an most un-expected pleasurable way.
Be happy that those movie-monguls want to steep this "low" to hark in your hard earned cash.
Because everything those heroes stand for are opposite to their believes.Do i sound like commie now?.
(well some of them may harbour secret identity of being a hotblooded comic reader i guess)
Conclusion: as long as the story is good and after that the actors.
-
...about the corman movie, I have a pirate copy of the ff movie that was to come out a couple of years ago. I got it a a comic convention, like three years ago...it's a copy of a copy of a copy, the reception is pretty bad...as is the movie. It's reeeeealy low budget and is so bad it's almost good. It's a goo thing that it didn't come out at the movies, it would have set back respect for comic movies quite a bit for the general public...
