    The Good & The Weird

    by Randin Graves

The Good - Three of my favorites from the fest won big - Beasts of the Southern Wild, Searching for Sugar Man and The Surrogate. The Weird - Every year the Alfred P. Sloan prize goes to a film they helped get made in the first place. Happened last year with Another Earth. This year, two films they funded got into the fest, and they gave them both awards. I guess that's one way to be able to say your foundation supports award winning films.

Can't make it this year. Sounds like a refreshing change of pace for your uncle. Rather than fucking you in the ass sans the Sambuca and Chiba and lube, he will end up getting some 'strange.' I'm on the *No flight list* so I can't make it. If there's a goat in rut available, JarJarAssLives would love to attend. Also, mentaldeficience will probably show up with his date (muñeca de hule) dressed as an Earth Kitt era Catwoman! Also, AssLives and mental will feign 'passing out' multiple times over the course of the evening, so there you go.
