Terry Gilliam has a short film called THE WHOLLY FAMILY releasing thorough his website - terrygilliamweb.com - on January 23. The folks over at MovieBox have a trailer for the picture, described by the site as following "...a couple and their son on a disastrous vacation in Naples."
Given Terry Gilliam's dark, wild, and obscure imagination - one can only imagine what "a disastrous vacation" means though his eyes. Given that this very short trailer is already featuring freaky...what...culty kinda people?...and strange little men?...I think it's almost certainly headed towards funkiness.
Gilliam is very hit or miss for me. I love his work on the whole, but with strong and frequent reservation. Which is how the work of many mad geniuses would/could be regarded, I suppose...
