As far as junk food books go, you could do a lot worse than Seth Grahame-Smith's ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER. For one thing, even though the author manages to squeeze in the whole vampire plot, it's fairly accurate as to its portrayal of Lincoln (at least, as best as it could be for a novel that re-imagines our 16th president as a merciless slayer of the Undead). Plus, it really is a lot of fun. Will Timur Bekmambetov deliver the goods? Well, Benjamin Walker looks like he walks the walk (he's no Daniel Day-Lewis, of course, but who is?) and we'll know soon enough when the film is released this summer. Here's a look, courtesy of MTV:
