Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
While it’s not the most clear picture ever, how awesome is it to see a dude in a monkey suit (yes, I know it's an APE suit, but monkey sounds funnier) reading the paper? Especially when that monkey happens to be on the set of 2001 and will soon represent the dawn of man in one of the most recognizable sequences in cinema history.
At first I thought he was smoking a cigar, but that image would have been so cool it would have caused the world to stop rotating to all of our eventual destruction. A closer look shows what’s more likely a breathing tube or some kind of cooling tube sticking out of his mouth.
