Hey folks, Harry here... I love that Andrew Stanton is playing with the truth behind PRINCESS OF MARS... the simple truth that the stories are in fact the true life adventures of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Uncle, JOHN CARTER. On ERB's mantle was the sword that John Carter presented him - and over the course of the books, John told Burroughs more about Barsoom.
I grew up entranced by that device. TARZAN was fiction, JOHN CARTER really happened. I knew that Stanton was doing this - but it is nice to actually see some of the pre-Barsoom tale. Looks like they have the crypt and everything. So cool. Now - hopefully we'll see an English Language trailer that does this. Enjoy...
