Bespin Luke Skywalker from Hot Toys

Last week, Sideshow Collectibles was teasing Star Wars fans with the promise of a 1/6 scale Bespin Luke Skywalker figure. This week, they're giving us a bunch of pictures, details and an exclusive addition. Based on the film Empire Strikes Back, the new 12-inch tall figure features a hand painted head sculpt of Mark Hamill, the Parallel Eyeball Rolling System, two bodies with over 30 points of articulation, 10 interchangeable hands, both damaged and clean movie-accurate costumes, a light-up Weathervane stand which can be mounted onto the wall or ceiling and allows 90 degree movement, two blaster pistols, a figure stand and a lightsaber. Sideshow also will sell an exclusive version that comes with a Darth Vader head accessory. That’s up for pre-order here for around $300. We have more pics posted of Luke over at the Articulation Times website.

Wave 2 of 6-inch ThunderCats from Bandai

Those lucky SOB's at MTV Geek got the first look at the next wave of 6-inch ThunderCats this week. Classic versions of Mumm-Ra and Lion-O will release along side new versions of Cheetara and Tygra in the Spring.

Gears of War 3 Wave 2 from NECA

The Gears of War saga may be over, but fans can expect the action figures to keep on coming. A new wave featuring Damon Baird, Augustus Cole and Dominic Santiago will release in February.

DC Universe Classics Wave 20 from Mattel

Here is the final wave of 6-inch DC Universe Classics figures that will probably ever see in your local retail store of choice. Mattel will discontinue selling the line locally after this set. Green Arrow, White Lantern Flash, Reverse Flash, Hawk, Dove, Red Arrow, Sinestro, Green Lantern with a metallic finish and the Collect-To-Connect figure of Nekron will release in February. They are also up for preorder here.

Big Boa from G.I. Collectors' Club

Hasbro has latched onto the toy subscription model that Mattel cultivated with its current Masters of the Universe Classics line. The only way to get a new batch of 25th Anniversary-themed G.I. Joe figures is to purchase them through the G.I. Collectors' Club Subscription Service. This week they released new images of the 12th figure in the series, the Cobra trainer Big Boa. Here's a link for more information about the subcription program.

And finally, if you prefer your action figures with exploding heads, detachable limbs and rotting flesh paint jobs, check out our latest review from The Walking Dead Comic Series 1...
