Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
The Towering Inferno isn’t my favorite ‘70s disaster movie (that honor goes to The Poseidon Adventure), but I’m a sucker for that subgenre as a general rule, so of course it’s close to my heart. I just love these epic star-studded flicks and this one has the unlikely pairing of Steve McQueen and Paul Newman with supporting appearances by everybody from Fred Astaire to OJ Simpson.
Today’s shot is of what technically would be called a miniature of the actual skyscraper that catches fire in the film. Miniature? That’s a bigature! Jesus Christ, look at that thing! Amazing!

Tomorrow’s behind the scenes pic is a badass shot of a redhead creaming up a man’s face. Wait, that sounds vulgar… Have to rethink that wording…
