The Avengers from Hasbro
The lucky folks over at Collider got the first look at the mockup packaging for next year’s Avengers action figures. The new Marvel movie action figures will hit toy shelves in Spring of 2012.
Venture Bros. Brock Samson and Dr. Killinger from Bif Bang Pow!
Based on Adult Swim’s animated series, collectors can look forward to a new 8-inch version of Brock Samson decked out in SPHINX gear with a knife and grappling hook gun. There will also be a new retro-style Dr. Henry Killinger figure with a black bag and umbrella. They will release in May. You can pre-order them here.
Crimson Guard Trooper from Sideshow Collectibles
Tomax and Xamot would be proud of this new deluxe 1/6 scale Crimson Guard trooper. It will feature a Prometheus 1.2 body with over 30 points of articulation, a detailed fabric uniform, a FAL rifle with bayonet, .45 assault SMG with folding stock and sling, three .45 SMG magazines, red dot sight, SMG suppressor, .50 caliber automatic pistol with three magazines, two flash bang grenades, a magnetic mine, three pairs of interchangeable hands, two pairs of boots, figure stand and more. The Sideshow exclusive version comes with an extra hand painted head. It's available for pre-order here and will release in the second quarter of next year.
Eleventh Doctor 12-inch Figure from Big Chief Studios Ltd.
Tweed jackets are cool. Bow ties are cool. Thus, this new 1/6 scale Doctor Who action figure is probably cool. It features the likeness of Matt Smith, a cloth costume with jacket, shirt, suspenders, trousers and boots, 6 pairs of interchangeable hands, an opened sonic screwdriver, a closed sonic screwdriver, wallet with psychic paper, nano recorder gun, lash-up device, time lord consciousness cube, Tardis sign fragment, handkerchief, wristwatch, display stand and more. Deluxe Die-Cast Batman from 86 Hero
Sideshow Collectibles will sell this 5.5-inch cute/cool die-cast Batman figure. It comes complete with five interchangeable gloved hands, 20 points of articulation, batarang, two cloaks, and LED light up features in the eyes and Batsignal accessory. It will cost $139.99 when it releases in the fourth quarter of 2011. It’s available for pre-order here.
