* Once again, basic cable’s “Jersey Shore” beat the networks’ 10 p.m. programming.
* CBS confirmed Friday it is shutting down production of “How To Be A Gentleman” after nine episodes and exiling the series to Saturdays. Its timeslot after "Big Bang" is going to "Rules of Engagement." There was concern "Gentlemen" was dragging down Bad Robot’s “Person of Interest”? “Criminal Minds,” at least, improved on its “Person” lead-in to overtake “Private Practice” for the first time this season.

* “Charlie’s Angels,” already ABC’s lowest rated scripted show, is now the network’s lowest-rated show of any stripe. It tied “Vampire Diaries” for last place at 8 p.m.
* “Grey’s Anatomy” is sliding hard against “X Factor,” and dragging “Private Practice” down with it. “Grey’s” was in fourth place at 9 p.m. behind “X,” the TBS baseball game and NBC’s Carell-free “Office.”
