HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 - possibly NSFW Opening Day Poster!
Hey folks, Harry here... Human Centipede 2 opens in theaters late night tonight and on PPV shortly thereafter. I missed the film at FANTASTIC FEST, vying for films that weren't coming so quickly... But the word on this is that it is visually sicker than the original, though not the film the original was. Enjoy the sick poster!

I'd never had any intention on actually seeing the entire thing, but after seeing Daniel Tosh's spoilery review of it awhile back, I'd been meaning on at least checking out like the first half hour or so. First of all on a side, he said both girls were very average. I actually thought the chick who winds up in the "middle" position, she was very very cute, hopefully in the future we'll be able to have a proper couple of naked rack shots of her lol<br> <br> But anyway, yea the coverage the movie's getting here IS seeming a little odd, now you mention it. But so the guy who's written and directed these... jesus. How'd he seriously convince someone to pony up at least a couple million? Like now that I've actually watched some of it (& no, I didn't pay for it, making that clear so as not to counteract my point) the dialog was even worse than I was anticipating. And the acting was so beyond horrible, but to a point where I was starting to wonder if they were actually acting poorly ON PURPOSE. Like their own elaborate, private in joke. Because there's not a human being alive with at least a 14 IQ who couldn't watch production or see dailies along the way and not be keenly aware how sad the "performances" were.

But now I am realizing that its on point. This site is pushing HC2 shamelessly. I wonder what the payola is, because as a decade long lurker, I have to say that this obvious backroom advertising move is completely blatant this time around. So what the hell is it? Cash? A Human Centipede Action Figure? What is this site getting that we don't know about in exchange for all of this HC2 webarreah? In the past, I've thought that a lot of the postings that question Harry and his intentions/motivation were misplaced. I've thought that he must have a thick skin for putting up with the nonstop abuse that talkbackers fling in his direction. But goddammit, I am beginning to see the light. Gotta say that the advertising blitz is working though. I know more about this movie than I ever wanted to. So do a lot of other people. And that is successful advertising right there.

Yeah, probably not cash, that's why I suggested a Human Centipede Action Figure (with shit gobbling throat action!). Whatever it is, it is something. That is what seems to be obvious. Or perhaps Harry is indeed fucking with his readership. But to what end? His reputation as a legitimate source of "cool things" has been sullied for some time now. HC2 is basically another countersunk nail in the nailed shut AINT IT COOL coffin. Bah, this movie and this site aren't worth much more of my thought. Oh, hey! I wonder how many other people are having this same reaction?

People get furious and react with a very negative attitude towards a work of FICTION,because it has characters in A2M position and that somehow prevents them from sleeping at nights even if they havent watched it. Oh wait,they CAN sleep at nights even if they have watched it. They might not want to SEE it, but the attendant hoopla is always entertaining, whether it's Last Temptation, Evil Dead, Crash or Human Centipede 2 (and please, no bollocks along the lines of "how dare you list blah with blah, they're one and the same in this context whether you like it or not). And they always have done. I can't be bothered arguing with the increasingly immoral and unethical "ban this filth" crowd anymore, but this is a new annoyance, this "WHY IS AICN COVERING THE MOST TALKED ABOUT GENRE FILM IN FUCKING DECADES???"

I think you would be hard pressed at this point to find a movie website that didn't have an article on HC2. Go to any movie site and do a search for it and you will find article after article. With any movie such as this, there is very little middle ground, you either love it or hate it. In this case the hate comments probably serve more as an incentive for folks to view the movie for themselves, if only to see what all the fuss is about. In reality, you can't buy this type of publicity. A movie that stirs up the type of reactions as seen here, will in fact end up being a 'cult' movie. The audacity of what the films shows alone will assure that. So you can rant and rave one way or the other all you want, folks will still want to see it. The only thing that could have killed this film would have been indifference and that has certainly not been the case on this website.

AICN was actually worthwhile, back maybe 12 years ago when they were still interested in posting actual spy photos and unofficially leaked info. You know, before the staff decided they were all junior Spielbergs and started trying to sell scripts to the studios and Harry sold out and turned AICN into a marketing & advertising site. Of course, then studios caught on to the idea that they could artificially manufacture "buzz" by having stuff be "accidentally" leaked to some website for 15 minutes before demanding that it be pulled. Kinda like how Apple keeps on "losing" prototype phones at trendy nightspots that somehow find their way into the hands of some tech blogger. To see AICN shamelessly shill for a piece of shit exercise in sub-torture porn perversion that only the most emotionally crippled & misbegotten of society would voluntarily watch makes me sad. But enough about The Ides of March. Let's talk Centipede II.....

Boring, terrible, fake and lame. The poster to it was great though, and made the movie seem like it would be unbearably shocking. Then you see the movie itself (if you were able to due to the horrible lighting and general murkiness).
