The real reason it was cancelled

    by BigDogg

They knew they couldn't follow the must-see AWESOME that was The Miz's appearance last night. I guess he gave the show a "Skull-Crushing Finale"

They tried with Aquaman but canned it before it went on the air. Which sucked because it was actually pretty good. You can still find the pilot around the web.

They were also going to fo The Greysons with Robins backstory, but that got canned or something. I thought sure that No Ordinary Family was going to fill Smallville's silly at most times but had its exceptionally awesome moments shoes. but that also got canceled. I was at the Marvel panel at the last Comic-Con and they are actually working on 2 or three different comicbook character shows for ABC Family in the future. AKA Jessica Jones & Mocking Bird on ABC Family and a new Hulk along with a Cloak & Dagger TV series. So it should be interesting to see how those turn out. ABC Family seems to keep their stuff around for awile so hopefully some of those will survive and if the Hulk is good enough I could see ABC keeping that around with Avengers coming out and all.

No one gave a shit about Fox till they got the NFL deal. When that happens people will start paying attention.

  • they say they get these people from the interent where they talk shit about these people and then they show these supposed internet clips filmed with h8r camera and production quality on a random colored background, its all gay bullshit, like their model show and every other reality show they produce each season that gets cancelled

  • Why are the CW executives so stubborn and self destructive. Smallville was their most successful series, but yet they have a memory blank over it.

Cable industry needs to be downsized...with an axe

    by FlandersBum

We don't need 100 crappy channels with 1000 crappy shows all pulling in 0.6 ratings. We need to stop subsidizing the industry with bundled cable packages and go ala carte. Over half of the channels would disapear overnight since people wouldn't voluntarily pay for them, and with them half of the crappy shows would disapear. And that would be a good thing. Say goodbye to all the fake 'reality' shows and cable series almost nobody has even heard of.

I depressed that a show where a bunch of sorta celebrities can meet a bunch of random people who hate them and get into a bunch of manufactured situations where hilarity can ensue. I guess my hopes of the Pauley Shore or Carrot Top episode of H8ters will only be a unfulfilled dream.

The CW is not a cable network. But I totally disagree with you. Cable is producing far better shows than the networks because they can be more daring. Without basic cable, there would be no Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Walking Dead, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Burn Notice, etc. You add pay cable and you get Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, True Blood, etc. What we really need is the networks to get as good of programming as some of the basic cable channels are producing. I can count on one hand all the new shows this year that I plan to continue to watch three weeks into the season and I might have a finger or two left over.

Unless they decide to focus the story on Betty Ross and work some Beauty and the Beast angle, you won't be seeing Hulk smash anything anytime soon.
