Too bad. I was looking forward to Jay Leno/Herc episode
by OutsideChance
When was that one supposed to air?
-
has got to be the most artistically bankrupt, transparently cloying "network" in history. Just awful in every way.
-
They knew they couldn't follow the must-see AWESOME that was The Miz's appearance last night. I guess he gave the show a "Skull-Crushing Finale"
-
CW should find a replacement.
-
They tried with Aquaman but canned it before it went on the air. Which sucked because it was actually pretty good. You can still find the pilot around the web.
-
They were also going to fo The Greysons with Robins backstory, but that got canned or something. I thought sure that No Ordinary Family was going to fill Smallville's silly at most times but had its exceptionally awesome moments shoes. but that also got canceled. I was at the Marvel panel at the last Comic-Con and they are actually working on 2 or three different comicbook character shows for ABC Family in the future. AKA Jessica Jones & Mocking Bird on ABC Family and a new Hulk along with a Cloak & Dagger TV series. So it should be interesting to see how those turn out. ABC Family seems to keep their stuff around for awile so hopefully some of those will survive and if the Hulk is good enough I could see ABC keeping that around with Avengers coming out and all.
-
How do they compare year on year ? How many shows are getting higher than a 2 ? Not many it seems...
-
maybe time for some new fresh management to overhaul the station a bit. I know a few people that are hoping to be moved up next season. pitched some pretty cool stuff
-
I know this is completely off -topic, but have you seen the BB finale yet? If so, does it answer the poisoning conundrum? Just as yes or no would suffice...please!
-
No one gave a shit about Fox till they got the NFL deal. When that happens people will start paying attention.

also, watched the miz clip on the net and there is no way that show is real...
by Daniel
they say they get these people from the interent where they talk shit about these people and then they show these supposed internet clips filmed with h8r camera and production quality on a random colored background, its all gay bullshit, like their model show and every other reality show they produce each season that gets cancelled
-
this industry is imploding and needs someone to shake it up
-
as much as i hate most of you, it seems that you all have pretty good taste except for your undying love for breaking bad...that i still dont get

CW; Admit you are wrong and commission a new DC superhero series.

Why are the CW executives so stubborn and self destructive. Smallville was their most successful series, but yet they have a memory blank over it.

We don't need 100 crappy channels with 1000 crappy shows all pulling in 0.6 ratings. We need to stop subsidizing the industry with bundled cable packages and go ala carte. Over half of the channels would disapear overnight since people wouldn't voluntarily pay for them, and with them half of the crappy shows would disapear. And that would be a good thing. Say goodbye to all the fake 'reality' shows and cable series almost nobody has even heard of.

The Kevin Smith/any Ain't It Cool News talkbacker episode.
-
I depressed that a show where a bunch of sorta celebrities can meet a bunch of random people who hate them and get into a bunch of manufactured situations where hilarity can ensue. I guess my hopes of the Pauley Shore or Carrot Top episode of H8ters will only be a unfulfilled dream.
-
The CW is not a cable network. But I totally disagree with you. Cable is producing far better shows than the networks because they can be more daring. Without basic cable, there would be no Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Walking Dead, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Burn Notice, etc. You add pay cable and you get Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, True Blood, etc. What we really need is the networks to get as good of programming as some of the basic cable channels are producing. I can count on one hand all the new shows this year that I plan to continue to watch three weeks into the season and I might have a finger or two left over.
-
Why pay for 100+ channels of Shopping Networks, infotainment, and assorted shit and only watch about 20 channels on a consistent basis?
-
All that's left is any show co created by Bob Orci to get shit canned and we will now have three (count em) Mexican'ts in a row. Ariba!!
-
even more so than the Massawyrm/Friedberg-Seltzer episode.
-
Then the third week dropped like a stone... not sure what that was.
-
...people had seen enough?
-

Unless they decide to focus the story on Betty Ross and work some Beauty and the Beast angle, you won't be seeing Hulk smash anything anytime soon.

How is that even TWO in a row? I'm pretty sure some white people got canceled in between those two shows. Go do some learnin' before you criticize people who earn way more than you ever will.

What the hell is that?
