Last week’s season premiere of SNL, hosted by Alec Baldwin, hit a 2.6 in adults 18-49, making it last Saturday night’s top-rated series in or out of primetime.

Though it is not a primetime show, SNL is also currently NBC’s second-biggest scripted series, after “The Office”:

"Saturday Night Live" Announces Stellar Line-Up for October 8 and October 15 Shows

New York, NY - September 26, 2011 - Ben Stiller, a former SNL cast member, returns to studio 8H for his second time as host on October 8.

Throughout his accomplished career, Stiller has written, starred in, directed, and produced over 50 films, and will next be seen in the feature film, "Tower Heist," due out November 4.

Foster The People will make their debut appearance on October 8. The band's latest album, "Torches," is most recognized for their soon to be double platinum song "Pumped Up Kicks," which reached number one on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and topped the Billboard Hot 100.

Returning to the SNL stage, Anna Faris will take her second turn at hosting on October 15. Faris can next be seen in the upcoming romantic comedy, "What's Your Number" and her other film credits include "The House Bunny," "Scary Movie" film series, and lent her voice to the animated feature film, "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs."

Making his SNL debut, the Grammy nominated and platinum selling recording artist Drake will perform. Set to release his highly anticipated sophomore album, "Take Care," Drake's newest single "Headlines" is already topping the charts. His first studio album, "Thank Me Later," debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
