Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Now, I promised a full audio interview back in my set report for Community and here it is.

This began as a one on three, me being the one and a couch full of very attractive people being the three. Those people were Ms. Alison Brie, Ms. Gillian Jacobs and Mr. Joel McHale. However, as you’ll come to discover when listening to the audio interview below, that was not to last long. What starts as friendly ribbing by McHale escalates into Ken Jeong and Danny Pudi joining the conversation, which gets so loud it attracts two other cast members, most notably Donald Glover who (I shit you not) comes into the conversation screaming, busting through the blinds of the study room (which has no real windows, I found out).

I mentioned how surreal it was to be on the set as a fan of Community, but this 15-ish minutes really did feel like I was in an episode. Picture a tubby geek coming to interview students about what it’s like to be at Greendale Community College and the craziness that ensues should feel like bottle episode of the show.

As you’ll notice, I sit most of this out, letting the cast drive this manic, and hilarious conversation. You’ll notice at a certain point the audio levels get… louder. That’s because Gillian Jacobs, Joel McHale and Alison Brie ended up picking up my recorder and speaking directly into it, handing it back and forth, to combat the loud talking of their fellow cast members.

And there you have it. I love all these people now and am very happy to have them back on television every week.
