Capone has the Winners' Names for the advanced Chicago screening of MONEYBALL, with Jonah Hill Q&A!!!

Hey everyone. Capone here, with the list of winners for tickets to see the exclusive Ain't It Cool News screening of MONEYBALL on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:30pm, with a post-screening Q&A with star Jonah Hill.

Those who entered and won will receive an email from me shortly with the details on the location of the screening. If you entered this contest and your name is on the list, but you did not receive an email, let me know and I'll get you the details.

Although this is an exclusive AICN event, it is slightly overbooked to make sure we have a full house for our guest. Please arrive early to make sure you get in and get a good seat.

    And I hate hijacking a thread, but Cliff Robertson just died today, aged 88. I see Restyles beat me to it. Well, here's hoping for a timely obit! I think Cliff deserves one.

    why is jonah hill allowed to be in movies? i get that he can play the funny looking fat guy, but he is not funny in his own right, and this movie isn't his normal shtick of drugging up a hot chick to fuck her only to have her fall in love with you type movie. i haven't read the book, so he may have been chosen because he looks the real person, but whenever i see the commercial, i can't help but think they put him in it because they could. which is sad because i would like to enjoy this movie, but his douche-fag ass will keep me from probably even renting it...

    i just checked online, and wikipedia (not the most reliable but i'll take it for it's word on this) says that jonah hill's character is partly fictional. fuck this movie for that simple fact alone: they went out of their way to put this no talent man-tit beast in their movie. here's my interpretation of how the q&a will go: "oh yeah, ya know, working with brad was really great, ya know. i like really learned a lot from him, ya know. and all the time, i was like, you got a hot wife, you know that?"

    Book was great... Movie looks great

    Jonah Hill was a serious misstep but still looks good. Also he ruined his career when he got AIDS skinny. Who is going to hire him now? His weight was the only thing funny about him.

    Hill's character is fictional for the following reason. Paul DePodesta, the real guy, was originally to be played by Dmitri Martin, Martin dropped out shortly before shooting began and was replaced by Hill. When that happened, DePodesta didn't want to be played by the fat kid from Superbad, and the character was renamed, which then allowed for (and perhaps necessitated) some very minor character liberties to be taken.

    I can't recall anything written on this site about Supernatural. Hmm. If I didn't know better I would assume that Herc has some irrational grudge against someone who is involved with the show but that couldn't possibly be true.
