HBO Greenlights Sorkin’s Latest Backstage Drama To Series!!

I am – Hercules!!

HBO just ordered a new series from Aaron Sorkin, writer of “A Few Good Men,” “The American President,” “The West Wing,” “Charlie Wilson’s War,” “The Social Network” and “Moneyball.”

The channel did not specify the number of first-season episodes, but speculation points to a “Thrones”-size total of 10.

HBO has apparently decided to drop the unwieldy working title “More As This Story Develops,” but no new title has emerged to replace it.

Like Sorkin’s earlier series “Sports Night” and “Studio 60,” the new series will follow a group of horny co-workers charged with creating live television, in this case a cable news show.

Sorkin’s first series for pay cable will hopefully feature many lesbitastic nude scenes for stars Emily Mortimer (“Lovely and Amazing,” “Match Point,” “Lars and the Real Girl,” “Shutter Island”), Alison Pill (“In Treatment,” “Scott Pilgrim”) and Olivia Munn (“The Daily Show,” “I Don’t Know How She Does It”).

The series also stars Jeff Daniels (“State of Play,” “Away We Go”), John Gallagher Jr. (“Whatever Works,” “Jonah Hex”), Dev Patel (“Slumdog Millionaire,” “The Last Airbender”), Thomas Sadoski (“As The World Turns”) and Sam Waterston (“Law & Order”).
