Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
After some 20,600 miles of travel over three different countries I finally find myself back at home. Never one to rest, I have a new behind the scenes image for you and boy is it a good one.
So good, in fact, that I wish I had a much bigger image. Hell, this would be one I’d blow up and put up on my wall if I could get a big enough. I mean, you have Toshiro Mifune, which automatically makes it badass, but you also have him driving a car in his Yojimbo samurai costume with his MOTHER-FATHERING samurai sword up on his dash.
Let me repeat that. Toshiro Mifune. Driving an MG. Top-down. With his Samurai. Sword. On. The. Dash.
Uhhhh… does it get any cooler than this?
Thanks to George Carrigan for sending this one along! The image was originally published in a now out of print book called The Emperor and The Wolf by Stuart Gilbraith IV.
If you have a behind the scenes shot you’d like to submit to this column, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s a beautiful day in tomorrow’s behind the scenes pic’s neighborhood.
