So Santa gets shot in the face, the Pope loses a tooth getting punched out, Harold gets his pole stuck on a... pole, and Neil Patrick Harris dies and goes to heaven. All in 3D, no less! I actaully appreciate 3D more when it's used as a gag, and it seems to be used a lot like that in this trailer:

Ever since Cheech and Chong we keep getting these movies and things where they think it is just funny because they are about pot smoking. Pot smoking = funny. Movies about it = not funny. And yeah you gotta get high before the film, but it only lasts around 20 minutes. The next hour and a half after that is pure murder unless you are watching at home.

Make them yourself, though. Those shits at the pot shops (I live in L.A.) are practically worthless. THAT SAID, I've never seen these Harold & Kumar movies. Someone loaned me Part 2 like years ago and it's been sitting in my unwatched pile ever since. I might have to break down and watch 'em. This trailer was kind of amusing and I'm stone cold sober right now...except for the oxy and the blow...but that's just to get by.

Because it no longer seems like a cool idea. I was looking forward to the Community claymation episode...but after seeing it, I'm fatigued by claymation. <p> This trailer was just so-so....a red band trailer might be better.

This looks like more of the latter. There isn't ONE obvious throughline in the entire trailer. Not that the other H&K films were plot-heavy, but this looks like a random collection of scenes shot haphazardly throughout a 2-3 year period. That would explain why the movie has been collecting dust for so long, though.

They had a movie set up for them after the first. It simply would have been like Eurotrip but we'd be following much funnier characters. Watching Harold and Kumar with NPH tagging along and getting into drug related sillyness would have been sweet. Instead we got that mess where they tried to make fun of relevant things. Using GITMO and what not. Like I get them liking the idea of those guys running into George Bush and smoking with him but... Down the road if you watch that movie again the "funny" element is gone. You'll simply be like "Hey isn't that the guy who fucked up America really badly"... "yeah"... "well he's getting high is that funny?"... "No, not really". Fuck H&K 2... At least this one is just going all out crazy it looks like and not trying to be "relevant".

I loved the 1st........hated the 2nd. Even bottomless bitches couldn't save that shit-fest. And I'm all about seeing some vadge in the movies. yeaaaa......can't get enough of the vadge. So the big question is....will there be 3D vadge in this movie? That could get me interested but it wont necessarily make me call it a good movie if it's not. But I'd still appreciate the vadge.

I mean it was funny when cheech & chong did it, and the last movie I laughed at about drugs was FRIDAY. Pineapple Express mad me a chuckle twice, but to be honest drug humor just isn't funny unless your on drugs. Very small market, and don't get me wrong I think everyone and anyone should be allowed to put whatever in there body if they want, but to market as like it is an OK thing is just wrong in this one time heavy stoners judgement.

The first flick is an all time stoner classic. I can watch that movie over and over and it's always funny. The second one isn't as good as the first but it's grown on me. I like that they're making fun of 3D. They're knocking the 4th wall so to speak with it, and that's why it's funny...even in 2D. Maybe especially in 2D, as they constantly throw things at the screen only to have them appear in 2D.
