Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
Since we have Apes on the brain I decided to dive into the archives and pulled out my favorite “What the fuck!?!” image from the original Planet of the Apes.
What you’re going to see below is a half-naked Charlton Heston conversing with Billy Curtis in full Ape costuming and make-up. Curtis was one of Hollywood’s most prolific little people actors, appearing in everything from Terror of Tiny Town to The Wizard of Oz and High Plains Drifter. He played an Ape child in PotA.
It’s not your typical behind the scenes picture and I love it all the more for it.
