First pics of Cavill with the Curl, and now this - Lawrence Fishburne has been tapped to play Daily Planet Chief Editor Perry White, according to Entertainment Weekly.
I think that's a good choice. Fishburne has the range and intensity, and he can be fun as well. The cast for MAN OF STEEL gets more impressive by the day. Not much to add here - we all know Fishburne's a terrific actor and I think he'd make a good Perry White, although I'm sure there will be those people who feel that color matters in the casting here. Not to me. Congratulations to Lawrence Fishburne, who surely couldn't have imagined this when he was sitting on the boat as a youth making APOCALYPSE NOW.
