NBC's PARKS AND RECREATION Has Cast An Oscar Nominee As The First Tammy Swanson!!
Ron Swanson’s much discussed first wife – one of the two people named Tammy he came to marry – will be played by Patricia Clarkson (“The Station Agent,” “All The Real Girls,” “Lars and the Real Girl,” “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” “Easy A,” “Friends With Benefits”).
She was Oscar nominated in 2004 for her role in “Pieces of April.”
Megan Mullally played Swanson’s second wife, Tammy Two, in three episodes, including last May’s “Parks and Recreation” season finale.
Tammy One was glimpsed from behind in that same season finale.
The typically fearless Tammy Two gasped and fled in a panic when she realized Tammy One was in the building. (See clip below.)
New episodes of the Emmy-nominated “Parks” return to NBC Sept. 22.

I was HOPING.. fingers kind of crossed.. that Adam Baldwin would be the new boss.. and COULD still be.. seeing how it works out.. I mean Chuck IS only committed to its FINAL 13.. I love the Palmer character on 24... but I don't see her replacing the Capt. in fact.. it may have been a bad idea for him to exit.. I hope it wasn't a money/show issue. And I hope the actor who played the Capt. is ok.. I actually quite enjoyed the character, although his name never registered... really .. well I LIKED the way that he was involved.. but him exiting the show the way he did.. I just hope they find a way to bring him back via flashbacks.. or something, if he's willing to do so. It reminds me of when they got rid of the first Capt. on Rescue Me.. wrote his role almost out until his killed himself (on the show I mean).. was always a hell of a shocker.
