Ron Swanson’s much discussed first wife – one of the two people named Tammy he came to marry – will be played by Patricia Clarkson (“The Station Agent,” “All The Real Girls,” “Lars and the Real Girl,” “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” “Easy A,” “Friends With Benefits”).
She was Oscar nominated in 2004 for her role in “Pieces of April.”
Megan Mullally played Swanson’s second wife, Tammy Two, in three episodes, including last May’s “Parks and Recreation” season finale.
Tammy One was glimpsed from behind in that same season finale.
The typically fearless Tammy Two gasped and fled in a panic when she realized Tammy One was in the building. (See clip below.)
New episodes of the Emmy-nominated “Parks” return to NBC Sept. 22.
