At Comic-Con over the weekend, Efren Ramirez, who played Kaylo in CRANK and Venus in CRANK: HIGH VOLTAGE revealed that Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor - writers/directors of the first two films in the series - are looking to come back for a third go-round, whether it be a prequel without Jason Statham, or a sequel with him.

The notion of a third CRANK film was bandied about 'round the time the second picture came out. Neveldine/Taylor's direction of Nicolas Cage's GHOST RIDER sequel...THE SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE...certainly didn't preclude an eventual CRANK 3, but this is the first we've heard about the project in some time (understandably...as they've been kinda busy).
