Episode 2.3, “Moving,” brings back the wonderful Pam Adlon’s character.
It’s worth tuning in for just for the prologue featuring Louie’s wickedly acerbic diner banter with fellow comic Todd Barry.
The episode then segues into a nightmare search for an affordable apartment in New York, which launches with an encounter with a hilariously candid (Israeli?) bait-and-switch artist and wends to an encounter with the comic’s accountant.
This is easily my favorite of the first four season-two installments. Series mastermind Louis CK should enter it in film festivals; it would win every time.
