Although I'm sure this wasn't the film Brad Bird thought he'd be making as his first live-action film, just from this teaser alone it doesn't look like he's slumming it. On the contrary, it looks appropriately big and international. I haven't been a huge fan of this franchise. I think there are a lot of good moments but no single film yet for me has been exceptional. If there's any director who could break that streak for me, it's Brad Bird:
