CAPTAIN AMERICA - promo piece has some fun stuff in it...
Hey folks, Harry here... Norton - the anti-Computer Virus protective shield that many of us use to protect our computers from the bad guys of the cyber world have sponsored CAPTAIN AMERICA - and placed ads that I noticed on AICN. So I clicked through and discovered the following video if you select "LIKE" on Norton's FACEBOOK page... So naturally I am embedding this trailer for all of you, so you don't have to do that, although if you like it, perhaps clicking on the ad to just help AICN's clickthrough rates might be awfully sweet of you. But here it is, in particular, I love the production art used in this:
Of course - this video may cause a bit of a fervor, cuz Cap's shield was a combination of mythical Marvel elements like Vibranium & Adamantium, which were fused to cause the shield to be the miracle that it is. Right?

Captain America deserves a great movie (as do most superheroes). At least it doesn't look like it's being goofy ala Green Lantern. Setting it in WWII instantly gives it a bit of gravitas.
-
After Green Lantern letting me down, I'm excited for a superhero flick that kicks ass in story and mythos. I hope Marvel does a better job than DC.
-
Just the vibe of everything I have seen so far. The trailers are not trying to over exploit with special effects but seem to oooze with substance and style. Big difference from the GL trailers which I could tell right away that the movie was going to blow. This is going to deliver. I can just feel it. Cannot wait to see this.

Nonsense. Adamantium was created in an effort to duplicate Cap's shield.
by Chewtoy
It didn't exist in WWII. It was newly invented when Ultron stole it from Shield and made himself indestructible.

Looks cool, although Captain America is one of the gayest comic book characters
by Nabster
Doesn't mean this movie won't be cool. Yet, there is a very good chance it will suck since it's part of this retarded shared universe where all the movies MUST suck in order for there to be an Avengers film Since it all has to lead to Avengers, all these MArvel films don't take risks, are generally bland, and just feel like pilots that are the first episode in a long line of shitty adventures. The only reason, I think Captain America might buck this trend is, because of Joe Johnston, who is a solid director, and because the trailers do look cool. But, this doesn't change the fact a dude dressed in the American flag, named Captain America is fucking idiotic and a little homo. And it's frankly insulting when you consider the fact America is an evil nation with a penchant for bombing and occupying other countries, and I'm an American myself! And I doubt the rest of the world is going to take to this somewhat homo character.
-
You're an idiot and actually quite sickening for your comments. America is an amazing democratic republic with a constitution that is second to none. And it's under attack. Tell you what: please give up your citizenship and move to Somalia where you can live and happy free life.
-
The Nazis thought they were good guys as well. American just slaughtered 2 million people in US and Iraq, for oil, military industrial complex, and our masters European Israelis. And we aint a republic, we're a state run and controlled by corporations and lobbyists. But, I ain't leaving you ignorant redneck. And the white man is going to be the minority in less than 3 decades. Which is great. I'm sure we'll stop being such facists by then.
-
Politics BS in this thread please please re-route that shit to Palin's Talkback. Comic book movies this year so far: X-Men First Class Green Lantern Thor Admittedly Thor is probably a better overall film narrative, however the best Green Lantern moments beat out the best Thor moments, so regardless of GL having more flaws overall I prefer it to the relatively safe Thor. All these films have had capable directors and this year the movies seem to be determined by the scripts. You'd think the guy who made Goldeneye and Casino Royale would've come out with the best of the bunch vs. the guy who's made only one other really out of the park theatrical release (Rocketeer).
-
not US, obviously. But who cares what a redneck like Corplhicks thinks anyway. America has an abundance of ignorant shits.
-
definitely the best superhero film so far. And it will remain this way, almost guaranteed. But this is because it was not constrained by this ridiculous shared universe bullshit, and because it was directed by a superior director, Mat Vaughn. Cap might be cool, and enjoyeable, but it simply cannot be that great due to the built in limitations of being a Marvel production in the shared universe.

I like comic book films, just like any AICN loser. But, fuck, it's getting annoying how these movies are just glorified episodes of television, THAT only end when one does poorly. They never have endings, or any resolution or satisfaction. That's why most of these movies are MEDIOCRE. I miss good old action movies.
-
Make Spidey watch MJ get raped by the Sandman. Make superman kill lois lane during sex. Have Captain America beat an African to death in old school racist rant. At least make it epic, with death and destruction. When are they going to make the LOTR of comic book films? I don't want these masturbate but never cum BS comic book films, MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN!
-
Equating Nazi Germany with America. LOL He's obviously fucking with us. No one could be that stupid, right? And, Nabster, if you're so upset over people dying for oil (allegedly), please give up every modern convenience you take for granted and live in a cabin in the woods. It's rather hypocritical of you to criticize war for oil when you sit comfortable in a country that makes your life easier because of it. Douche.
-
In the comics he declined to go to Afghanistan, he felt it was wrong to hold an entire country responsible for the acts of a few. OK folks? Can we stop this idea that he is Captain American Foreign Policy?
-
Our evil ways will only stop when we are forced to. It's not an option to stop using oil since everything is a product of oil. Toothpaste is a by product of oil. And this is irrelevant you idiot. And just because I'm American doesn't mean I have to be an ignorant dumbass like the rest of the hicks in this country. And yes we went to Iraq for Oil, Military, and Euro facists Israel. Everyone knows this, it's not even disputed. AND, You fucking idiot, we killed 30 million Indians! But I was talking about post WWII, and since then we are responsible for at least 25 million deaths, due to CIA meddling and wars we have fought. AT LEAST 25 MILLION! Don't blame me since your another ignorant American redneck. We live in a racist, facist, war mongering country. Get over it. And like I said, Nazis thought they were the good guys as well. Everyone does. But history and FACTS say America is as evil as any country that has existed.

Any mention of adamantium in Cap's shield would be the Retcon.
by Chewtoy
Honest. The first time adamantium was ever mentioned in the Marvel universe was when Fury called the Avengers in to test the metal, saying it was a brand new discovery created in an attempt to replicate Cap's shield. What they came up with didn't have the properties of Cap's shield, but it was apparently indestructible. It wasn't something that was around in WWII. Roy Thomas came up with it to make Ultron more of a bad ass.
-
I did not know Cap declined to go to Afghanistan. That's pretty funny, and very cool. Truth is, I will definitely watch this movie, since I grew up on the comics. And the trailers do look good. But, look at Marvels shared universe track record. Thor, Iron Man 1+2, and Incredible Hulk. They're all watchable, somewhat enjoyeable, and but all unremarkable, and middling. This is why I have a hard time believing this film will be great.
-
It's not an option to stop using oil since everything is a product of oil. Toothpaste is a by product of oil. And this is irrelevant you idiot. How is this irrelevant? All you've done is prove my point. Nice job, jackass. And it IS an option to stop using oil. You are perfectly capable of living off the land and your wits alone. So why don't you? Oh, that's right ... because you're just another pussy hypocrite. And while you're going on about how America is the most evil country that has ever existed, you refuse to acknowledge that the vast majority of humanitarian aid comes from Americans. You also refuse to acknowledge that America is the reason most of the civilized world isn't controlled by some bullshit monarchy. My god, someone get this mouthbreather a history book.

nico_las the ignorant redneck embarrasses himself once again
by Nabster
First of all I'm not preaching against using OIL you shitwit! SO it's not relevant you fucking retard. Stop making irrelevant and asinine arguments, that mean NOTHING. What I am arguing against is killing over a million people in Iraq first for military, and then Israel, AND Oil. My use of oil, or lack of it, has nothing to do with this you dumb ass. And you in effect are saying as long as we are getting oil from Iraq, its okay to commit crimes there. Think before you write something so dumb, dipshit. That's like me saying, okay, if you support America so much, why aren't you in Afghanistan? You hypocrite. This is as retarded as what you are arguing. Honestly, this is the single dumbest most idiotic line of thinking I have come across ever on AICN. But I understand you have to resort to this since, you're obviously a dumb ass hick. I cannot believe, your argument to against me is, " Why are you using oil?" Fuck, you are an idiot.

Someone incessantly calling someone 'dumb' while they themselves are completely lost on proper English grammar. Thanks for the laughs, douche. Oh, and I never said I support the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. So revealing of you to make such sweeping generalizations. In truth, I just found it so hilarious that you refuse to admit to your own hypocrisy. You're like a fundamentalist Christian, preaching against gays (you do like to use the word 'homo' a lot), who then gets caught with a gay prostitute. Haha.

Israel lobbied VERY VERY hard for Iraq and Afghanistan Wars
by Nabster
This is not a theory, at all. This is an established fact, that is well known, that many Americans on capitol hill have complained about. The problem is, any American politican who speaks out against Israel, usually is crushed by the Israel Lobby. It's happened many times. They question of why do they want regime change in those countries? The three main funders of Hezbollah and Hamas(non terrorist organisation btw), are/were Saddam, Taliban, and Iran. The two biggest reasons we are in Afghanistan and Iraq is Israel and the Military industrial complex. This is utterly beyond dispute.
-
uh-huh, that's why the Chinese received the 1st oil lease contract with the newly democratically elected gov't of Iraq

Because oil companies limit production to artificially spike oil prices
by Nabster
Unical, one of the main oil companies in America, recently closed one of their oil facilities in California claiming it was unprofitable. A journalist, went threw their trash for months, and found documents that proved this facitility was the most PROFITABLE and most productive oil facitlity that Unical has. Unical purposely closed this facitlity down to artificially increase oil price, which in turn allows them to make WAY more money, obviously. This is apparently common practice. Unical is also the oil company Hamid Karzai used to work for. This is why Hamid Karzai was given Afghanistan to control, because he will make sure Unical can build their gas pipeline in Afghanistan. This gas pipeline is obviously one of the main objectives in going to Afghanistan, since Unical met with the Taliban and asked them to build this pipeline, and Taliban said no. Unical representitive is known to have said to the Taliban " We will either cover you in gold, or in bombs. Your choice." It's also important to remember, the New York Times reported, the Taliban were immediately willing to give up the Al Qaeda and Taliban, but Bush and his dudes said, piss off, we need are war. This is not conspiracy theory, this happened.

Cap's looking cool. The whole WWII setting is going to be wonderful.
by Stereotypical Evil Archer
I don't see how Cap is going to work in modern times, but the WWII stuff looks great. A period piece superhero movie. Worked great for the intro credits to Watchman. Superman should take place in the 1930s; are you listening Snyder?
-
Supposedly the early reaction is great. Considering the trailers, and if it does get good WOM, it will probably do very well. But, I wonder if it will perform outside of the US, because increasingly, the most important thing is international Box office, not American.
-
Reimagine AIM as a rougue military defense contractor.
-
These are facts; this is not debatable; everyone knows this; this isn't consporacy theory;... et cetera fucking et cetera. You sound real desperate, Pudster. It's obvious that no one takes you seriously in real life. You're the poster-boy for internet trolls everywhere.

Ralph"The karate kid" machio does comic books now?!?! Surprised no one else caught that. Joking aside though...
by SobchakSecurity
Oh and before someone gets a hair across there ass, I know it's not the same Ralph Macchio. This was great, and gets me even more excited. Nabster is a piece of shit. And I hear you all about this concern over Captain America having to tie in with the avengers. I think since this takes place in a different period, there will be very little if any at all of that. That's one of the many reasons I'm looking forward to this. Oh, and anyone else think we will get a wolverine cameo in this? He did storm the beaches at Normandy.....
-
I think England will dig this movie because of Peggy Carter and Union Jack. This may be the best U.S. WWII movie in a LONG time to show us working with other Allies.
-
Well, we know that the Red Skull is after the Cosmic Cube, which is Asgardian technology, so it kinda ties in with Thor. And, yes, you're correct. Nabster really is a piece of shit.
-
You say absolutely nothing in your posts other than fucking retarded things like " Well don't use oil!" Which is insanely stupid since NO ONE is preaching against using oil. This is how stupid you are, that you need to make completely meaningless agreements. It's obvious to everyone here that someone who comes up with such idiotic and asinine arguments is a truly dumb person. And no one listens? Yes, that's why the tbers are responding to my posts, and not yours. Good job embarrassing yourself once again. Nicolas the dickaless I have no doubt you're some friendless hick. If you want to defeat me in arguments, try responding to my arguments, otherwise you're only embarrassing yourself. "Why are you using oil?" Lol. How retarded can one get? Actually don't respond, its just embarrassing.
-
Or is this some sort of schtick you're trying to do?
-
You respond to each of my comments, so apparently, you're my biggest fan. Are you in love with me or something? Sorry, guy, I don't swing that way. But feel free to be as gay as you want. Given your obsessive use of the word 'homo' as a derogatory term, it's obvious that you're a repressed, self-loathing homosexual. Just let it all out, dude. You'll feel a lot better. Haha And I'll respond to your arguments when you give me something worth responding to. You say no one is preaching against using oil (in all caps, which only makes you look even more desperate), but you still refuse (or fail) to realize that by criticizing an industry that aggressively acquires oil ... all while you yourself reap the benefits of such practices ... you are, without a doubt, a hypocrite. I mean, I can't spell it out any more clearer. If you don't get it then I guess you never will. Oh, well. You wouldn't be the first retarded internet troll.
-
i had the impression that vibranium dissolves adamantium when they come in contact?
-
Nabster feels that negative reactions still count as positive reactions, and that means he's more important than I am (or anyone else). More sad desperation from a basement-dwelling troll. LOL
-
I think it's Savage Land Vibranium that melts adamantium, not Wakandian. God, that wasn't geeky...
-
but you still refuse (or fail) to realize that by criticizing an industry that aggressively acquires oil ...
-
Are you retarded? I said, going to war for oil, amongst other things, is wrong. Only a moron would argue against this. And in your retarded mind you believe going to war for oil is the samething as "an industry that aggressively acquires oil ..." Lol. You're seriously one dumb dude. And NO ONE said anything about positive reactions. And I never said anything about being more important. Lol. You think making up shit in your head wins you points? You really sound delusional and desperate.
-

Change the fucking record, dude. You're boring the hell out of me.
by nico_laos
You're like ... 15, right?
-
I called you a child, which so clearly are. And your comeback? You call me a child. Good one. You showed everybody how smart you are. And you actually called me a repressed homosexual, which is perfect because it shows how immature and stupid you are. Because calling someone gay is not insulting. But me proving how fucking dumb you are is definitely insulting you. And as much as I'd love to keep embarrassing you, this derail has gotten to long, for the sake of the other tbers. But one last time. In Nicolas the dickaless' herpes infested mind going to war for oil is the same thing as "an industry that aggressively acquires oil ..." Lol. And you can't say I'm boring you when you KEEP responding back you shitwit. Go one show everyone how much I bore you by responding once more. You're just so dumb, it's not funny.
-
Wow I have never seen such irritating branding in my life.
-
Look, I'll get serious for one paragraph. You talk about the 'military industrial complex', right? Well, doesn't that count as an industry? Wouldn't you say that going to war for the sake of consumable resources is the same as an industry aggressively acquiring said resources? So I changed the semantics around for rhetorical purposes ... I really didn't think it fly over your head like that. Use your fucking brain before you write something. And one last thing: Someone who refers to everything he doesn't like as 'homo' is not someone to be taken seriously. You lost that privilege after your first post. If you act like a child ... you get treated like a child. No run along, little troll. Have fun spending the rest of your evening masturbating to schoolgirl porn like the overweight virgin I know you are.
-
nice shield action.
-
I know cosmic cube is asgardian and ties in with thor, but still, this is a stand alone movie and only slightly ties in with avengers. I mean, there will be obvious references, the cube and howard stark for example, but the overall story stands on it's own and not every piece, scene,or character ties in with the avengers. Know what I mean? So while looking forward to avengers, it's nice to see one movie that isn't as avengers-centric as some of the other movies.
-
Yanno, the more I see of this movie, the campier it looks. I hope it doesn't turn out to be like the 60's Batman, or just a little bit above that. I have big homes for it, but it's also kind of giving me a "Indy and the Crystal Skull" vibe. I'm hoping for a winner. X1C was pretty good, but not great, and I want this one to be better than that sooooo bad. But I'm kinda having my doubts now.
-
If you do not like this country, then move to another country. Seriously, get out. I don't want you here. If we had to defend our shores against an invading force, I would not trust you in the trenches, or behind a desk. You do not deserve the freedom you clearly take for granted. It's pretty simple. Also, keep in mind, that while you damn a country for going to war for goods, resources or profit, you also damn history and human nature. Do you think that wars have been fought for liberty alone? I agree with nico_laos. You must still be in school, given how childish your comments are. It's either that, or you are really, really ignorant.
-
I see your point. Cap will probably have a didn't feel to him once he's in the Avengers. So it's nice that we get this little period piece before them.

-
Exactly. So, with it being more standalone, tis a bit liberating story-wise. Now,speaking of the avengers movies and some of the other more recent comic adaptations, esp x-men:first class.... How do you all feel about the avengers movie and the tie ins being set more in the modern day? With the exception of captain america of course. I think it's great, but, I can't help but wonder, and would love to have seen, a period piece set avengers movie, early to mid 60's let's say. I mean, imagine what that could have been. Also, the whole ultimates tying in with the original series/stories?
-

Screaming that the US went to war for oil, whatever that really means anyway, may sound good at your teenage political rallies but the fact is, oil is literally the life blood of the planet. Do you even know how much of our daily lives are entwined with the petrolium industry ? Much more than just filling up your car at the pump. Try looking up what I mean in terms of fossil fuels and our daily lives. For better or worse that's the way the world is now and protecting the uninterrupted supply of oil is vital. At the same time, in terms of Afghanistan, if you really do not understand the importance of overthrowing the Taliban government re: 9/11 and other acts then youre clearly an ignorant child or a stupid adult who is unreachable with the truth. If the latter, then please give up your American citizenship and move to Somalia right away!
-
I just read your comments to me and others again and noted the European Jewish lobby comment and the one about whites being a minority in the US someday etc. Dude you're pathetic. I'm Jewish and Caucasian but I guess I'm not white in your Nazi Eugenics Handbook huh. You are sickening and pathetic and likely stupid as you clearly do not even know the history of America. At first I thought you might be just a typical left wing conspiracy wacko who ignores facts. You know, someone who thinks the Pentagon was hit by a CIA missile on 9/11, etc but now your stench has revealed your true self.
-
the more I get excited about this movie! Looks goood! But I hope the ending will be cathartic and kick-ass. I wanna see a good fight and dialogue between Red Skull and the Cap. Yes, dialogue. Action and conversation, like: "Give it up, Red! In the name of the U.S.A, you are going doooown!" okay, maybe better...
-
And to those of you who blame his age for the fact that nabster is a piece of shit communist moron, I tend to think that he is more than likely a product of one of our many fine liberal progressive universities that make it their goal to teach up and comers how evil America is, and how we should all become socialists. But yeah, he's still a piece of shit communist moron. No matter how he got that way.
-
Much better than Green Lantern already, mainly because there are practical effects in there that make a nice contrast to the cg (which also looks spiffy and well used in this). Evens looks remarkable and the whole thing just looks like a fun ride. Cap has NEVER been about America but about he American ideal. Freedom and democracy being tantamount to that. He's quite being Cap' before because he fell out with the politics of the country. I honestly think some people mix up the ideal with the reality and instead of striving for the ideal, make excuses for the reality. I'm a Brit' and even I can see this.

dont bother arguing with the brainwashed, their programming is hard wired and people dont like to look at the train wreck of civilization heading towards a brick wall with america leading the way. just let them be comfortable consumers that dont want to know how things actually work. this is why things are as bad as they are because people wholeheartedly believe what propaganda corporate/gov says and then they eat there genetically modified foods take their meds and watch sitcoms and work for the machine 8 hrs a day.---yes its better than somalia but that doesnt mean we cant criticize our own country. arguing with the brainswashed does little to break them out of the world they believe in, they can either find out for themselves or believe in the fantasy and be good little robots till their time is up. george carlin has a good bit on all this http://tinyurl.com/dbommj anyhow as ridiculous as a man with the american flag as an outfit is, im hoping this is good, everything looks promising so far, green lantern was a joke, and xmen was good for the most part but man it had some cheesy parts-- flying girl that spits fire, beasts halloween outfit really bad music at the end. THOR so far was suprisingly the best i think so far, a lot of because it was so different than most comic films since it had the asgardian aspect. i hope the ww2 setting for cap has the same effect.
-

im as culturally conditioned as anyone growing up in particular society, that doesnt mean im beholden to believing whats put out for mass consumption as the "truth" and for the record i dont know what "stormfron" or whatever is. admitting one is conditioned is a necessary step to move beyond it. " “One asks: can the mind ever be free of this social and cultural conditioning, of the mind measuring and comparing, the conditioning of fear and pleasure, of reward and punishment? The whole of our moral and religious structures are based on this. Why is it that we are conditioned? We see the outward influences which are conditioning us, and the inward voluntary demand to be conditioned. Why do we accept this conditioning? Why has the mind allowed itself to be conditioned? What is the factor behind it all? "-krishnamurti

I find it interesting you thought of nabster as a communist/socialist far left. I viewed him as a heavy right, tea party, type of guy. His rants felt more like the US should pull out of everywhere and keep to itself and let the rest of the world fend for themselves. I just think it's fascinating that we both read the same stuff and felt he was on totally different sides of the coin. Weird. Cap rocks! I think it will do well everywhere. People love seeing Nazi's getting beat up.

have a read at what I wrote to and about that jerk. Think you may agree-- he's ignorant scum
-
It's so fucking awesome to enter a TB about a Captain America movie and have to sort through a 1000 of this fucking idiot's troll rants. And to top it off he's so brilliant and google/book-smart yet he's tossing around generic homophobic insults. Fuck outta here scumbag. Take your rants to any number of the 80 billion news or political forums, blogs and sites that have comments sections designed specifically for armchair philosophers just like you.

awesome stuff. I also like how they promised to reveal why the shield showed up in the IM flicks although I guess we could all roughly imagine how/why it ended up there. Unlike the early info, teasers and trailers for GL, everything about this movie up to now has been pretty cool imv. I'm getting an XMen 1st class vibe from this.....I just hope it turns out to be on that level.

"And it's frankly insulting when you consider the fact America is an evil nation with a penchant for bombing and occupying other countries, and I'm an American myself!"- nabster "But, I ain't leaving you ignorant redneck. And the white man is going to be the minority in less than 3 decades. Which is great. I'm sure we'll stop being such facists by then."- nabster So not only are you ignorant of history and current events (we get absolutely ZERO oil from Afghanistan or Iraq, to both of which I've been), but you're also a racist and lack the courage of your convictions, as you're unwilling to leave the country you claim to hate (because, deep down, you know you're full of shit; don't fret, so do we). Take it from someone who has spent an appreciable amount of time abroad: you simply don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Rest easy tonight KNOWING that.

...another one set during WWII against Nazis. Maybe he'll run into Indiana Jones.

If only Green Lantern had been as lovingly and faithfully crafted by the guys at DC as the films coming out of Marvel Studios are. I'd like to see an article on AICN about why GL turned out to be such a disaster. The movie was produced by DC's parent company, Warner Bros, so how did it up to be such an intergalactic mess? OTOH, DC does pwn in the animated realm, where Marvel seriously needs to catch up.

Don't take the bait- these clowns showing up on a Captain America talkback, trotting out the 'America is the great Satan's nonsense, are just taking the quick and easy path to get some attention- which they clearly desperately crave. Ignore the sad little worms! So far, I like what I am seeing- let's hope the payoff lives up to the promise of the previews!

I think his mummy came in and turned his computer off... Even trolls have bedtimes.

Can't wait.

Guess We 'Evil' Americans forgot one. You... I agree with the others, please leave America, you obviously are intolerant, American hater that deserves to live in some high taxed Euro country eating twigs & nuts off the ground like good green minded socialists believe. Capt. America roCks.
-
I just added my 2 cents to this Napster idiot.
-
Hate to spoil the party, but I'm afraid that Nabster is right. We're seeing the Twilight of America and a Hollywood feel-good movie is not gonna change a damn thing.

Stupid bloatware.

Captain America deserves a movie as epic as Superman The Movie

Marvel, Joe and Cris - as The Beatles would say - don't let me down.

Regardless of whether this movie ends up being good or not...
by GroolDemon
I gotta give these guys some dap just for all of the love and engineering that went into that iconic shield prop. That is seriously some dedication.

Hi guys!

With all that's already come out, and Captain America, Star Wars BD release and Forza 4 (sorry Gran Turismo, you disappointed me last fall) still to come this year, it's a GOOD time to be a GEEK!!! Just need Big Bang Theory season 5 to be still funny to round it off. Oh, and beyond that, I still love football, cars, chicks (including my wife) and my young son, just in case someone was planning any "living in parents' basement" remarks, lol.

Can't be worse than a hot poker up the ass, right?
by Queefer Sutherland
Still, after seen Green Lantern, I kind of would've preferred the hot poker.

At least they mention vibranium at all. I'll take it.
