Most romantic comedies are just tepid, bland, and especially unfunny. But there can be good films made in the genre. I think Cameron Crowe's SAY ANYTHING is an effective one, and BRIDESMAIDS can certainly be considered a rom-com. But I've never seen a romantic comedy quite like this one.
I think GREEN WITH ENVY may well be the best romantic comedy yet made. It's got Jason Segel, Amy Adams... and they're wonderful in it. Looks very romantic, funny, and you'll have a tear in your eye when you see... well, just check it out.
It opens this Thanksgiving! Seriously, my most anticipated film of the year.
