That looks to be a fun event... a Cirque de Soleil type event...

...in either of Nolan's films. Take note, Chris. Other than that, the preview is quite scant. Looks like it could be a big ball o' fun. It is OK, afterall, for Batman and his rogues gallery to be more cartoonish in various incarnations. Let's not take ALL of the fun out of it!

Batman Live is turning the batman brand into a tacky franchise. Just when Nolan gave the cinematic Batman such a depth and gravitas DC Comics ruins this with a fucking pantomime? And they have the cheek to include such a lame character like Harley Quinn?! First the Wonder Woman fail. And now this ? Diane Nelson and Dan Didio should hold their heads in shame.

I went and saw that Six Flags Batman show about 20 times over the course of one summer, shooting it with my camera from several different angles/vantage points. One day, I'll cut the best stuff together to make a badass Batman short. Just don't hold your breath.
