“HART OF DIXIE”
Fast-talking New Yorker and brand new doctor Zoe Hart has it all figured out – after graduating top of her class from medical school, she’ll follow in her father’s footsteps and become a cardio-thoracic surgeon. But when her dreams fall apart, Zoe decides to accept an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work with him at his small practice in Bluebell, Alabama. Zoe arrives in this small Gulf Coast town only to find that Harley has passed away and left his half of the medical practice to her in his will. She quickly finds that Southern hospitality isn’t always so hospitable – the other doctor in town, Brick Breeland, is less than pleased to be sharing the practice with this young outsider, and his daughter, Lemon, is a Southern belle whose sweet disposition turns sour when she meets Zoe. Zoe’s only allies are the mayor, former football star Lavon Hayes, her bad-boy neighbor Wade Kinsella, and handsome lawyer George Tucker – who just happens to be Lemon’s fiancé. Zoe is out of her element and ready to pack her bags, but a surprise visit by her snobby New York mother leads to Zoe’s decision to stay in Bluebell for a while, discovering small-town life and a side of herself she hadn’t known was there. The series stars Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart, Jaime King as Lemon Breeland, Wilson Bethel as Wade Kinsella, Cress Williams as Lavon Hayes, McKaley Miller as Rose and Scott Porter as George Tucker. HART OF DIXIE is from Bonanza Productions Inc., in association with Fake Empire, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, with executive producers Leila Gerstein (“Gossip Girl,” “Eli Stone”), Josh Schwartz (“Gossip Girl,” “Chuck,” “The O.C.”), Stephanie Savage (“Gossip Girl,” “The O.C.”), Len Goldstein and Jason Ensler (“Gossip Girl,” “Chuck”). “RINGER”
Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as a woman who, after witnessing a murder, goes on the run, hiding out by assuming the life of her wealthy identical twin sister – only to learn that her sister’s seemingly idyllic life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she’s trying to leave behind. Bridget is six months sober and starting to turn her life around when she is the sole witness to a professional hit. Despite the assurances of her FBI protector, Agent Victor Machado, Bridget knows her life is on the line. She flees to New York, telling no one, not even her Narcotics Anonymous sponsor, Malcolm. In New York, Bridget reunites with her estranged twin, Siobhan. Wealthy, pampered and married to the strikingly handsome Andrew Martin, Siobhan lives what appears to be a fairy tale life – a life where no one knows that Bridget exists. The sisters seem to be mending their frayed relationship, until Siobhan disappears mysteriously, and Bridget makes the split decision to take on her sister’s identity. She discovers shocking secrets, not only about her sister and her marriage, but also about Siobhan’s best friend, Gemma, and Gemma’s husband, Henry. And when someone tries to kill Bridget in her sister’s penthouse, she realizes she is no safer as Siobhan than she is as herself. The series stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Bridget and Siobhan, Kristoffer Polaha as Henry, Ioan Gruffudd as Andrew Martin, Nestor Carbonell as Agent Victor Machado and Tara Summers as Gemma. RINGER is produced by CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television in association with ABC Television Studios and Brillstein Entertainment with executive producers Pam Veasey (“CSI, NY,” “The District”), Peter Traugott (“Samantha Who?”) and Emmy Award-winner Richard Shepard (“Ugly Betty”). “THE SECRET CIRCLE”
Cassie Blake was a happy, normal teenage girl – until her mother Amelia dies in what appears to be a tragic accidental fire. Orphaned and deeply saddened, Cassie moves in with her warm and loving grandmother Jane in the beautiful small town of Chance Harbor, Washington – the town her mother left so many years before – where the residents seem to know more about Cassie than she does about herself. As Cassie gets to know her high school classmates, including sweet-natured Diana and her handsome boyfriend Adam, brooding loner Nick, mean-girl Faye and her sidekick Melissa, strange and frightening things begin to happen. When her new friends explain that they are all descended from powerful witches, and they’ve been waiting for Cassie to join them and complete a new generation of the Secret Circle, Cassie refuses to believe them – until Adam shows her how to unlock her incredible magical powers. But it’s not until Cassie discovers a message from her mother in an old leather-bound book of spells hidden in her mother’s childhood bedroom, that she understands her true and dangerous destiny. What Cassie and the others don’t yet know is that darker powers are at play, powers that might be linked to the adults in the town, including Diana’s father and Faye’s mother – and that Cassie’s mother’s death might not have been an accident. The series stars Britt Robertson as Cassie Blake, Thomas Dekker as Adam Conant, Gale Harold as Charles Meade, Phoebe Tonkin as Fay Chamberlain, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Melissa, Shelley Hennig as Diana Meade, Louis Hunter as Nick, Ashley Crow as Jane Blake and Natasha Henstridge as Dawn Chamberlain. Based upon the book series by L.J. Smith (author of “The Vampire Diaries” book series), THE SECRET CIRCLE is from Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Kevin Williamson (“The Vampire Diaries,” “Scream,” “Dawson’s Creek”), Andrew Miller (“Imaginary Bitches”), Leslie Morgenstein (“The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl”) and Gina Girolamo. MIDSEASON
“RE-MODELED”
Modeling industry veteran Paul Fisher is planning to bring together hundreds of small agencies around the world in a new venture called The Network. The Network will give Paul the leverage to change the industry from the inside out. He has two missions: to make sure agents in small towns no longer get screwed, and to empower models to take control of their careers and lead healthier lives. RE-MODELED is from Fly on the Wall Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television with executive producers Allison Grodner (“Big Brother,” “You’re Cut Off,” “She’s Got The Look,” “Plain Jane”), Rich Meehan (“Big Brother,” “You’re Cut Off,” “She’s Got The Look,” “Plain Jane”), Amy Palmer (“You’re Cut Off,” “Plain Jane”), Paul Fisher (“I Want To Be A Hilton”), Greg Seuss (“What's Wrong with Virginia,” “Tug”) and Erik Stone (“Aisha Tyler Is Lit: Live at the Fillmore”).
“THE FRAME”
What happens when your whole life is reduced to one Frame? There’s only one rule: if you’re out of the Frame, you’re out of the game. Ten teams of two, chosen for their dynamic personalities and their existing deep-rooted relationships, are selected to compete in this wild social experiment. These teams will each live in one Frame – a stripped down version of their home living space – for up to 8 weeks, with the entire world watching their inter-personal soap operas play out atop a highly formatted game. Couples cannot physically see one another, but each “frame” is rigged with plasma screens & communication devices that allow for visual and verbal interaction. The teams will face outrageous challenges, punishments, head-to-head competitions, and eliminations, all while isolated from the outside world. With 24/7 web cams streaming content live, and a bi-weekly television show, audiences will vote for – and have control over – many elements of the show, from rewards to punishments to eliminations. The last couple standing will be America’s favorite pair, and walk away with a cash prize. THE FRAME is from Shed Media and Armoza International Media with executive producers Nick Emmerson (“Bethenny Ever After,” “Supernanny,” “Who Do You Think You Are,” “The Real Housewives of New York City”) and Jen O’Connell (“Bethenny Ever After,” “Supernanny,” “Who Do You Think You Are,” “The Real Housewives of New York City”).

CW is phucked. No Superhero show and Supernatural close to its end.
by yamayama
There isnt a single show in that new line-up that suggests CW has a profitable future.
I would love to know what is going through the mind of the boss of the CW network at the moment.
No superhero show at CW=Fail. -
It's sure to be a hit.
-
I want to see SMG on TV again, I really do. But I just don't have faith in Ringer based on the premise and short outtake.
CW sucks, plain and simple. Supernatural is the only show worth watching on the entire network. -

So CW thinks it's Oxygen now?
by has_snyder_been_fired_from_superman_yet
Is another name change in order? If so, I have the perfect one: VAG!
-
It's been a brilliant show, are they trying to get rid of it already?
They should keep it on thursdays since most other shows that were on that night are now gone or moved to another night. -
Man, that's Chuck, Fringe AND Nikita now! My DVR is gonna hate me...
-
...Seems like CW is trying to bury Nikita so I went ahead and canceled my pre-order for the Blu-ray from Amazon. Going up against Chuck is just stupid and it forces those of us who like the spy genera to pick. I'm going to be watching Chuck since it is the last season and wrapping up. I've been with it for the long haul.
I don't think Nikita can carry Friday and this is just the CW's way of killing it off early. Smallville had a built in audience before it went to Friday and so did Fringe for the most part. Moving Nikita there makes them loose those of us who watch Chuck and then the Nikita numbers are already not so big.
I'll just wait and see how it goes. If they give Nikita a third season then I'll pick up Season 1 and 2 on Blu-ray and go from there.
Damn you CW!!! -
first off one tree hill is one of its lowest rated shows, 90210 is rated lower then nikita and supernatural and im pretty sure so is gossip girl, i looked into it awhile ago and their highest rated shows were vamp diaries, then smallville, then supernatural, then nikita, doesnt that show something to them, that their more action packed shows that nerdy dudes are gonna watch are their more successful shows, and not their geared towards girls girly shows that are way lower rated, my guess is they dont have lots of money so the lower rated cheaper to make shows make it and get the good night slots while the better rated more expensive shows get the shitty nighted slots in hopes that they get less viewers so the idiot woman in charge of the network can watch them die and cancel them in glee...
bring back the cw of past, or maybe its so far back it was the wb, more action, more awesome, less girly girl -
that would be 5 more shows a week or more with half hour shows, ive never understood that, it must be another money thing, they dont have the budget for that many more shows a week, when that would actually make it so much better, should of kept smallville around, could of kept other shows around, could of started new shows...
but knowing cw they would of just made more reality shows to fill the time, their least successful shows that are always the lowest rated on their networks and get cancel or fade away, i havnt seen 1 successful reality show on that network since beauty and the geek which even got cancelled eventually, they have next top model, which i dont understand how it still survives since its one of the networks lowest rated shows, it must not cost much at all, i remember reading that the judges on the show only get paid a couple thousand per episode, and do any of the winners on that show become famous, i dont know any of them, and none of they are attractive anyways, they are just models, ugly skinny girls, they arent super models or anything
bottom line cw needs to get its act in gear, which it wont, or it will fade away, glad they picked up nikita though -

they don't expand into the 10pm hour for the same reason Fox doesn't
by doctortom
FCC regulations are out there about networks who own some of their stations not being able to broadcast more than 14 hours of network programming per week in prime time. That's why Fox only does 2 hours a week on weeknights and the block on Sundays. I think CW would run into the same problem.
-
There's a two hour block I can get behind in a big way.
Nikita really ramped up to a hell of a season ender. -

"Buffy" Initially Aired Mondays @ 9PM As A Midseason Replacement, Herc....
by filmcritic3000
Thus the reason Season One only has 13 episodes.
It debuted in March 1997, aired after "7th Heaven", IIRC, and replaced the Aaron Spelling-produced drama "Savannah". It started airing on Tuesdays the next year, I believe. -
May 19, 2011 5:51:28 PM CDT
Ringer is the only one I would watch. Booster Gold/Blue Bettle would have been fun.
by shutupfanboy
A JLI show would be awesome. I'll check out Ringer, but I don't think it can last or be good past one season.
-
Not every headline needs to end in double punctuation!! Can't you see it's really fucking annoying?? No?? Herc!!
-
Honestly, the most obvious spin off that they could have done and there's no sign of it? By the time they get to it, the buzz will be gone and the show will bomb.
-
I can't believe she killed two mythos on one DC show.
-
Then I'll start watching the CW again. But not until then. So, get workin' on it, CW.
-
Moved to Tuesday's with the widely publicized 2-night event Surprise/Innocence. They aired 2x13 on Monday and then the next night aired 2x14. The show blew up in ratings compared to how it had been doing. Buffy remained in that slot for the remainder of the series run, even after switching to UPN.
-
They wrote your favorite Angel episode, Herc.
-
The season finale was a fine way to wrap up a surprisingly good season.
The witch thing looks like The Craft, the series.
The OC girl playing a doctor? Beats doing commercials for ice cream bars named like condoms, I guess.
Since the 24 continuation with FP Jr. was obviously a big pipe dream, they can start with the stunt casting. -
Welling's production company produced Hellcats. He was an executive producer on the show.

I'm glad Nikita is back, but why the instant schedule change?
by nasty in the pasty
Just like Fringe...
Why the hell do networks change a new show's timeslot INSTANTLY these days? It used to be a show would NEVER get moved until it had at least a handful of seasons under its belt and a loyal fanbase that would follow it to a new night (The X-Files was on Fridays for its first three seasons before moving to Sundays in season four), and yet now it seems like any show just getting it's sea legs will IMMEDIATELY get shunted off to another timeslot in season two. Nikita just got better and better as its first season progressed (with a killer finale cliffhanger), and *already* the CW is trying to kill it? This show, if properly nurtured, could be the next 24, so don't dick around with the timeslot and keep it on Thursdays! -
Fringe was pretty close to cancellation numbers on fridays this season. I was hoping one of the two networks would change the timeslot.
-
None of that looks good. Fringe will be gone after a year, Supernatural and Chuck as well. Glee was fun in the beginning, but it's dragging lately. Other than a few comedies here and there that I can give or take, I don't think I'm going to care much after next season unless it's one of those Sci-Fi (sorry, Syfy) or USA originals that have like 6 episodes a year. Goodbye non-sitcom network TV, and even that's hanging on a thread.
On the plus side, the world is going to end this Saturday anyway. Too bad. Really was looking forward to the last Harry Potter. -
Hiding out from murderous criminals by assuming the identity of your twin sister? So the bad guys here, desperately in search of this girl, just say, "hey, we can't find this girl anywhere...oh there she is! Oh no that's just her impossibly rich twin sister, she couldn't possibly be of any use to us in finding the girl we're looking for, so we'll just leave her alone and keep looking without bothering her at all."
The only way it could work is if we find out the bad guys killed her twin sister thinking they killed her, and that's how Gellar is able to just take on the identity without any troubles from them. -
find!! another!! site!!
-
Friday is apparently the night they broadcast their most popular shows.

Why do people here still complain about WHEN a show is on?
by andtherest
This is a site for us movie/TV geeks, of which I am proudly one. In the old days I too used to care about the time-slot a show was on and hated when my favorite shows were moved around... sometimes in direct competition with each other.
With dual tuner DVRs and the Internet no self-respecting movie/tv geek should ever complain about when a show is on. We can all find our favorite shows online within a day or simply record them on our DVR. If you notice, the shows that DON'T have this luxory are mostly the ones watched by older demographics (ie. almost everything on CBS, and other crime-procedurals). I just don't get it. It doesn't matter to me if a show gets moved to Friday. We are all (or at least should be by reputation) smart enough to find our favorite shows. I'm sorry for venting, I'll shut up now. -

RE: Why do people here still complain about WHEN a show is on?
by andtherest
One thing to add... I'm just happy when a show I like is STILL on, no matter what time or day it gets moved to. Ever since Firefly was cancelled I've learned to just appreciate every new season of my favorite shows (such as Fringe and Supernatural). So when I hear that Chuck is moving to friday I'm just happy that I get to see at least 13 more episodes of what I think is a fun show that is always "on the bubble". Next season I'll be recording 4 shows on Friday (Nikita, Chuck, Supernatural, Fringe) so I'll need to make sure the DVR isn't full each week.
-
If it were designed to humble jackass celebrities. Instead it will be used to teach us common folk not to judge celebrities so quickly because, like, their lives are really hard, ya know?
Also, it has Mario Lopez. Insta-fail. -
If you want a good spy show and a good horror/fantasy show, you're going to have to choose between Nikita and Chuck and Supernatural and Grimm (not to mention Fringe). The older shows win out for me. Dual tuner dvr can record 2 shows, but not 3. Let's hope Grimm will be on demand.
-
Not sure why the show tanked so bad. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. Hot chicks in spandex sounded like a winner. I think the only reason the show was on in the first place was because Welling wanted a new show production deal with his last season on Smallville. Get Aly back on the screen ASAP!
H8R looks awful. D level "celebs" doing anything for more exposure. Let me know when they get someone on there that is not affiliated with the CW network, or has more than $1 million in the bank. So "celebs" are going to be upset the public only knows them based on their publicity. Total ego masturbation.
Nice to see Britt Robertson back. Obviously a ripoff of "The Craft", but it won't become Charmed 2.0 unless they slut up the chicks (and we are back to Hellcats again). -
Angel couldn't get a 6th season, but this shit can go nine? Really? ... Really? Do those "actors" work for free?
-
I thought he was in a new show next fall, so how can Happy Endings NOT be cancelled?
-
Ratings, ratings, ratings. If you like a show, you want it at a good time slot so it can last, not a death slot? (i.e. Firefly) Or competing against some reality juggernaut (i.e. Chicago Code), or bouncing it here and there (i.e. Human Target) whenever they feel like it. Networks still use the antiquated system to determine what stays and goes, cause they know thats when captive audiences watch ads
-
I'm just happy to see Nikita get a second season, as long as they don't nerf it like they did Life Unexpected and Reaper. Stick with what works CW, a modest success is good enough at the level you're playing at.
-
Is this some kind of weird practical joke?
-
Man...I used to LOVE that show. I know that the CW needs at least one guaranteed hit each week and with Smallville gone they really do need Supernatural, but I think it's one of (to me, at least) the biggest fucking travesties in TV history that they gave the show extension past the 5th season. The season 5 finale was on TNT this morning and if the last 15 seconds hadn't been included, it would have been an absolutely perfect ending. Instead the show just feels so forced now. Damn shame.
-
I'll always consider the season 5 finale as the true series finale, and this is just the epilogue. But still, Cass turning into a sinister God? That is the shit, my friend.
-
DO NOT WANT.
Also, why didn't anyone tell me that chick from Eureka was so hot??? -
has it not occurred to you that the reason people might bitch about shows getting moved is because half the time it losses a heap of ratings? therefore losing that show... yes, even now when you dvr it.... i personally dont even care about about this argument..but it seemed a rather obvious point to miss..
-
but yea, it coulda ended with season five. but im glad its still there. kinda bummed cass is all corrupted now..
-
Personally, I'd rather my cable box reported my actual viewing habits, instead of relying on the outdated and easily rigged Nielsen system. Of course the only way to do that would be to randomize and anonymize the data out of privacy concerns, thus ruining their almighty demo tracking, so that will never see the light of day.
-
I've been going to Ain't it Cool for ten years!! Your double punctuation finally took it's toll!! Annoying?? YES!!
