‘Analyze!! Analyze!!’ Wednesday Brings America’s First Post-Osama SOUTH PARK!!
Last week, Kyle’s failure to read his iTunes upgrade user’s agreement put him on a collision course with unpleasant.
Comedy Central says of Wednesday’s installment, “FunnyBot”:
At South Park Elementary’s first annual Comedy Awards, Jimmy announces that the Germans are the least funny people in the world. Germany is highly insulted. They vow that retaliation toward the kids at South Park Elementary will be swift and brutal.
How would the Funnybot fare against Awesome-O or MechaStreisand?
And wait, there’s more!! Comedy Central is also tonight airing its Osama-centric episodes, starting at 9 p.m.!
“South Park” sent Saddam Hussein to Hell long before the Iraq leader was discovered cowering in a spider-hole, and the series continues to demonstrate laudable prescience:
Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants: 9 p.m. Wednesday. Comedy Central.
It’s A Jersey Thing: 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Comedy Central.
FunnyBot: 10 p.m. Wednesday. Comedy Central.

They should change "Tango is down, tango is down" for the repeats.

Use whatever the line was. ("For God and country, Geronimo geronimo geronimo.")

That's okay. Most of us get douche chills from people still using the expression "douche chills."

showing the Osama eps because, you know, he's dead! So we can expect the Muhammed episodes followed by the Scientologist one?I'd like to think Parker would have something to say about this, but he said in that interview that he's more or less burnt out on SP. Not that you can tell, cause the show is still fantastic.
-
The season finale, Bloody Harlan, is tonight. Where's the TB?
-
I thought for sure they'd rush something together like they did when Saddam was captured. That happened on a Sunday too didn't it? So time shouldn't have been a factor.

Actually, Israelis are way more non-funny than Germans
by has_snyder_been_fired_from_superman_yet
Not that Germans are funny, just that Israelis take having absolutely no sense of humor at all to the level of an artform.

... A Jimmy-centric episode. That's like turning on Family Guy only to discover it's a Meg episode. "Here's the clicker. I wouldn't blame you."
-
the erection one, krazy kripples, he's good
-
Don't get me wrong the show is brilliant. It's just after last weeks episode which was epic this weeks is... "Lets make fun of Germans". I'm just bored by this. Maybe it's because I know Germans who are hilarious. I just don't see them making "Hey Isreali's are humorless asses" episode or anything. Seeing an episode like this just makes me feel like they are phoning it in. I'll read about it later maybe they'll surprise me, but I think I'll skip this one.
-
You beat me to it.

wheres the justified talkbac, herc?
-
It seems very likely that the Germans are being used as a stand-in for the Muslims who threatened to kill Matt and Trey over the Mohammed jokes and not intended to depict actual Germans.
-
same way the Canadians were the WGA. Also, you can bet your ass there will be SOME kind of Osama reference. When Saddam showed up days after he was captured, you can tell it was just a tag they threw onto the end of the episode. Tonight will be no different. The episode has probably been more or less mapped out for a month, and the past three days have just been about figuring out how to fit Osama in. An interview Trey did while talking about the Tony Nominations said they were hard at work on the episode. They're rushing to get something out.
-
been really great this season. I like Family Guy as well but it can be hit or miss....American Dad however is funny as hell and pretty demented at times. Roger is a great character and the episodes all have actual stories with no cutaways. South Park is pretty funny too still but why do so many people act like douches when it comes to South Park....as in they act all elitist and poserish as if SP is the "intellectual" cartoon that has something to say and all others shows suck. Can't we just dig all the shows and laugh and enjoy....hey better than more reality crap right.
-
made me snort laugh like a doofus.
-
Not the sharpest sting, really.
-
right after Matt & Trey swept the Tony nominations.
-
no one caught the Obama line at the very end being lifted from his speech?
-
and didn't want to mess with things too much to squeeze Osama in somehow. Not too mention, they already shot him in the head. Loved funny bot...and token just handing money to Tyler Perry

If you watched this in Canada on "The Comedy Network" and did anyone catch what just happened?
by ndally
They literally showed an ad for "The Comedy Awards" right when South Park went to commercial. I. Shit. You. Not!
-
Wait, am I the first to get "The Changeling" ref. ?
-
After a fantastic premiere and 2nd episode (impossible astronaut and day of the moon) the BBC show's main enemy the Dalek was spoofed really well by South Park. Welcome to America. Moffat should feel proud!!!
-
It was a Dalek. We all know it. And since the Daleks were SS stand-ins, it made sense to be built by Ze Germans.
-
I will never second guess the South Park guys again. I thought they were just hating on Germans for no reason... Turned out the episode was amazing. Very funny.
-
But that was kinda weak. Funny still. Just not as amazing as last week.
Oh and the Mohammad drawing was great.
