    I only wish....

by Damned if I can login

...that American writers could approach the level of quality of anime writing. Not even close...anime has some serious plot development.

    Oh...and Cowboy Beebop's "Tank"?

by Damned if I can login

Got to be one of the hottest themes *ever*. Add that to these other themes that make up my best list: - Johnny Quest (original Hoyt Curtin, AWESOME trombones) - Fireball XL5 (love the baritone sax) - Space 1999 (1st series, radical wah-wah) And of course... Star Trek TOS! Still one of my all-time favorite themes.

    by Johnno

Deadman Wonderland looks good. New Last Exile make me all excited. Clamp being involved with new Blood might be interesting... I want to see what Mutafukaz ends up being. Studio 4C delivers. And of note, where the hell can I find a blu-ray of summer wars? What the hell? Restock them already!

    Agreed

    by kufirst

Excellent post, almost too much information to digest in one sitting. I also agree that anime is on a whole other level compared to lots of American shows and films. Lots of fascinating stuff; Shinkai turning into Miyazaki 2.0, noitaminA gathering up more and more good stuff, the indispensable Funimation trying to piss me off and I am excited for Bunny Drop. Now I must look at external Blu-Ray drives and I'll be damned if that sudoku anime isn't good!!!
