Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I was the one guy on the internet that couldn't be at my computer when Weta did their live stream preview, so I figured I'd wait for the trailer itself... Turns out I didn't have to wait long.
Now I feel like I better understand what this movie is... a very, very early prequel, the origin of the brain-apes. And it looks pretty nifty, I think... and makes more sense as to why they're just straight up primates without tapping into that great design of the original film that was more ape/man hybrid.
Apple premiered the trailer, but for the life of me I can't get through, getting only an error message when I click on this link, but I'm told others are getting in.
